Who bought Red Dead Redemption 2?

And who plans on playing the online mode when it comes out.  Bought as I am big RDR and GTA fan.  Seems like a lot detail has been put into this game.  

Rockstar is one developer who has the resources and talent to make a MMORPG that I would be excited about.  They just know how to get the small things right for the most part.  I am excited to see what they will be able to do with the online mode.

    I did but I won't be playing for now. Also looking forward to the online mode.

    Rockstar is a better version of Chris Roberts. They absolutely know how to monetize everything (thus why this is on console and they will milk that for as long as they can before they release on PC) except they actually release games and games that are much better than average. But its still the principle.

    That being said when it comes out on PC I will definitely get it. But that is more than likely 18 mos to 2 years away.

    Technically they only sale the money.  While can buy money packs my son just played the game.  Seemed to do fine.

    Most games if on console I will buy on console.  Not only do i get it for both consoles with a single digital purchase it will run.  My comp runs games well sometimes no.

    Hoping it comes out on the PC although I do own a PS4 I rather play it on the PC.

    I'll be picking it up tonight, Hopefully it runs and looks better than Monster hunter did on the base ps4, fingers crossed it isn't washed out looking.

    I only have the base ps4 and it looks ok to me though I am not a videophile or even an audiophile for that matter.

    Now if the setting was Lovecraftian, situated somewhere along the English coast.... ohh god, I would live there....

    It is incredibly difficult to design some meaningfull leg content that would fit a space ship game - simply because it is not a leg game.

    It is just huge resource waste....'

    No PC, no buy for me.

    I watched Dan from Dan's Gaming play a bit last night. It is gorgeous. I also had some good laughs like when Dan "accidentally" fired his pistol during a "sneak mission" (he wanted to just draw his pistol, not fire it) and triggered the fight early.

    I agree with @Sovrath that looking through the catalogues is sooooo much better than a "buy menu." The details, so far, are outstanding, from what I've seen.

    Personally the only modern MMORPG trend that annoys me is the idea that MMOs need to be designed in a way to attract people who don't actually like MMOs. Which to me makes about as much sense as someone trying to figure out a way to get vegetarians to eat at their steakhouse.

    I don't know about living there, but my HEAVENS, Can somebody PLEASE make something like this and just rip off The Secret World and make it so it's better and the character models don't look like Rocky Dennis. Have the combat be great. Have mystery, puzzles, lore, investigation, and I will let the world burn down around me as I play it.  :D

    I bought is for regular PS4.  Only played a couple hours and game looks great and have not noticed any stuttering / frame dips. 
    One thing that annoys me is the horses in the cinematic.  They walk like robots.  Normally I would not give 2 damns about this, but I saw an article describing the amazing details of the game down to "horse ball physics."  The horses seem fine when actually riding them, it just seems to be in the cinematics.  It certainly does not make me not like the game or whatever, I just found it weird considering how much detail they put into other things.

    Just an FYI for those interested in the Online aspect, you need a Playstation Plus account to play Online. One of many reasons I hate consoles.

    Lucky for me I had no intention of playing Online but it still came as a shock to me when i bought it last night.

    PC only here, and ive an issue with the "you must be part of a gang" thing. I prefer lone wolf or factions.

    Has anyone been able to get the companion app to work? RDR2: Companion doesn't show when I search playstore on my nvidia shield tablet nor on my lg phone. I searched for it on my pc and it shows but theres a note saying its incompatible with all my devices- asus nexus 7 tablet plus the 2 devices I already listed.

    Years of development shows.  The game is how I picture MMORPG.  Their craftsmanship is tops.

    Thank Microsoft for forcing paid online on consoles and now everyone is doing it. But hey, $50 a year for PS+ is cheaper and offer more than subscribing to one mmo, and people here love subscribing to mmos. That part has become more of a personal preference.

    I personally would also play that game offline, not interested in the online part. But i don't know when i'll get that game in particular. I have a long list of games i want to buy first.

    You also get free and discounted games. Usually get the Xbox Gold on sale for like 40 bucks.
