People don't seem to realize this demo is heavily restricted. It's not going to tell you much about the actual release. I pity the fool who bought a virtual ticket just so that they can get their hands on the demo.
played vanilla&burning crusade for 15 months then sold my account because this game is the greatest drug ever.
You should share what that addiction was because for myself,VERY easy to quit, the game is imo not very good in any area.
I assume because it is all i ever hear about is you liked doing instances, killing a Boss just because it drops better loot and that is Wow in a nutshell. I can see why so many want vanilla, seeing and playing the newer scaling idea really turned me off as it did when SOE first did it many years ago in EQ2. Difference being SOE learned very quickly that scaling was a good idea on paper but sucks in game and never did again.

Shit, vanilla was a broken slog of systems and pain, have fun with all that. This is just Blizzard going in for the "I told ya so" when the classic crowd dies a few months after launch cause they realize it wasn't as great as they remember.
Also how is classic going to die in few months when in few months most people wouldn't have covered even 10% of the game, unlike with the latest expansions where you need 1-2 months to get through everything except for Mythic raid end bosses(tho some people do that as well in that time frame)
It happens when the realization of nostalgia is one hell of a bitch. It's the boredom and missing the systems that will create conflict such as, "oh ya classic doesn't have x, I liked x". Sure there may be diehards or people and groups jumping in to be the first of w/e, but after that dust settles, there won't be much around.
1 million accounts in Nostalrius beg to differ...
That will drill down to 10% of those numbers...
Which is still 100k players. If Blizzard keeps 100k players around long-term with just a remastered Classic build, I think they'll see it as a successful endeavor.
Classic is a incredible experience, The best way i can describe it is everything feels meaningful. From the mobs you farm and what they drop to the copper and silver you earn. Your profession and crafting skills are actually useful. Imagine having to actually make descions in a skill tree that will be impactful and determine how you play. Imagine more than 5 zones at your disposal during the leveling process. Its quite awesome and will make you loathe retail, BE WARNED!
WAS an incredible experience.
If you think the same holds true today, you're delusional.
No one is going to be leveling fast. The starter areas will be filled with raged induced Monster Drinkers with Red glowing eyes verbally abusing all who come close to that level 1 Boar!

Also, who the hell is going to pay $15 a month for that old crap lol
Not enough to make it profitable that's for sure. Profitable in Blizzards eyes anyways.

LOL wow live and classic are and will be the best on the market by a mile. BFA is actually good for people that don't play all f n day. The game will be king for a long time.

Blah blah blah. Really think you need a new hobby other then bashing Blizz anything. You speak crap and nothing but.

For a lot of games this would hold true, but for years now private servers have been thriving with some of them having higher population than 95% of Blizz live servers, so even if it's not as popular as people expect it's still going to have more than enough people for few servers to be bustling with activity.

You have to take into account, those private servers count all created accounts as active accounts, and they are free. I doubt Blizzard is going to let Classic be free. So it will come down to how much nostalgia is worth to you. Is it worth 10-15 bucks a month, or did you only play PVT servers because it was free Nostalgia. A lot of players have already shown they arn't willing to even get a VT to try the demo (which if you do it just for the demo, you should probably re-evaluate what you spend cash on) there are many who may not want to pay to play. I am willing to pay if it is included with my live, but I wont pay a separate sub to classic.
Honestly I am hoping classic wow is successful so they'll (vary possibly) do same with BTC and/or Wrath. I never played vanilla and may re-sub when classic goes live. Undead warrior or orc-hunter as first toon (heck may even lvl both in 10-15 lvl brackets). Just hope bliz will do something to keep asian gold farmers from being a problem.

You nailed it. I recently went to level 30 on Light's Hope and loved it. It's grindy af, but it is a good grind, feels meaningful as you said. You got to think about what you're doing and have your wits about you. I will gladly sub for it when it's ready.

Smart move by Blizzard, people play way too much and would get burnt out soon to realize this is all a waste of time.So by cutting them short ,it leaves them hanging ,wanting more.
Never forget 3 mile Island and never trust a government official or company spokesman.
So a multi billion dollar company is unable to provide enough server capacity so that everybody can play the classic demo without a 30 min break ? LOL nice job Blizzard, that is really embarrassing.
I have leveled to lvl 60 and deleted a character three times in private servers, waiting for the day an official relaunch would happen. I can tell you, there's no rose coloured glasses, classic WoW is a damn good addictive game despite its age.

Me, for one.
Take the Magic: The Gathering 'What Color Are You?' Quiz.

Brenics ~ Just to point out I do believe Chris Roberts is going down as the man who cheated backers and took down crowdfunding for gaming.
