One of the most PvE games out there, it's nothing like EvE or Albion. If you like Territory PvP play Darkfall, there are 2 versions out there. 1) New Dawn = Carebear 2) Rise of Agon = Similar to the Original
Ettenmoors has a mild territorial aspect, the dominating side gets a few benefits (that's the incentive behind taking back the keeps from the enemy), and the sieges can be fun if both sides have enough members present.
Combat is fun - if you like the traditional tab-target design, that is

It's the opposite. New Dawn is more like the original. Rise of Agon has more convenience features--globalized market and faster travel for example. There're no race wars on RoA--alignemnt system changed to benefit sandbox play. It's also much faster to get high stats in RoA. This leads to more PvP on RoA, but it's debatable about the quality of PvP. There's more specialization on New Dawn.
it was a great game 10 years ago when it was run by a competent team, now they have a skeleton crew and keep repacking the same old stuff to make some more money on the cash shop before they shut down. There are better F2P games out there now, I would suggest guild wars 2 for F2P
alright so how LOTR is fun game just wanted to know? like many saying
As far as the PvE goes its a story driven quest game that proceeds at a relaxed pace. And the community is friendly - although the newly lauched servers have had an impact.
As an "old" mmo it probably has every feature you would expect to find and then some: crafting; lots of content; world bosses; solo instances; public dungeons; housing; built in chat support that works with e.g. Discord; instanced dungeons for different sized groups (1, 3, 6, 12) - some that scale, some that don't; instanced siege weapon battles; cosmetics; a variety of classes - tanks, healers, dps, pet classes; events themed around e.g. Christmas; different races and its based on Tolkein. There is more as well and its easy to play a bit, take a break and come back however.

It is currently NOT available on the legendary servers.

The game launched ten years ago and is a MMORPG how is it going to have combat like solo game Shadow of Mordor?

Kyleran on yours sincerely
'But there are many. You can play them entirely solo, and even offline. Also, you are wrong by default.'
Ikcin in response to yours sincerely debating whether or not single-player offline MMOs exist...
'This does not apply just to ED but SC or any other game. What they will get is Rebirth/X4, likely prettier but equally underwhelming and pointless.
It is incredibly difficult to design some meaningfull leg content that would fit a space ship game - simply because it is not a leg game.
It is just huge resource waste....'
Gdemami absolutely not being an armchair developer

It is not for everyone.
