Adobe Flash Player safe?

I'm wanting to try a MUD that requires you to have Adobe Flash Player installed.  Is this safe?  Any risks?

    Adobe flash player normally is a most have for PCs, just uncheck the little box "Optional offers" while you are trying to download/install so you wont get McAffee install on your PC.

    Correct me if im wrong and you are talking about something else :p
