When you think of Star Trek you think of a few things, like humans flying around the universe in powerful ships, exotic alien worlds, and races, and the omnipotent beings like Q. Everything costs a ton of refined dilithium. for example, getting a reputation shield array would cost around 32k dilithium. You can only refine 8k a day. But you can spend 5 dollars for 500 C store credits and sell those on the dilithium trade for about 29k per 100 C credits.
Most of the best ships also are only purchasable in the C store or through loot crates with an absurdly low drop chance, i.e. in the tenths of a percentage point.
