This game Neverwinter looks good enough...

This game is mostly stated as worse graphics then most MMO's but i find them looking good enough on maxed out settings...

    I've always loved the looks of Neverwinter. The gameplay just didn't draw me in.

    Not sure why, but I just can't get good graphic's with Neverwinter.  It's always a trade off of graphic's vs FPS with my other games but I can play LotRO & DDO on High, AoC on Med, but when it comes to Neverwinter I have to go with Low.   I've always heard and seen here it looks nice enough.

    SWG (pre-cu) - AoC (pre-f2p) - PotBS (pre-boarder) - DDO - LotRO (pre-f2p) - STO (pre-f2p) - GnH (beta tester) - SWTOR - Neverwinter

    Never thought graphics was the issue, the gameplay was too MMOish not MMORPG enough.

    Rough character models and the awful lip syncing is smashed right into your face straight away. That's the weakest part of the graphics and you see it close up all the time.

    This is why people hate the graphics.

    I play it maxed out. Most monsters look great (when they aren't trying to lip sync one) and the world design and landscapes look great. Zone variety is excellent. Skill effects and animations are great. Armor and weapons are very cool in appearance.

    But.. the weak part is so weak and in your face so much that it ruins the rest.

    I'm a big fan of Neverwinter though. I think it's the best MMO if you want Diablo style action gameplay. It's basically a third person Diablo and once you get properly selling things on the AH you can get pretty much anything you want from the cash shop without paying, including VIP.

    P.S. Neverwinter is very popular on consoles and it looks/performs absolutely horrible compared to even medium settings on PC. The low resolution is awful and it looks blurry all the time. That's also where a lot of the negativity will come from.
    I don't suffer from insanity, I enjoy every minute of it.

    May i ask what machine you have? i think the minimum GPU you need is a Gtx660ti

    The lip sync does not bother me at all actuly... anyhow if played the Ps4 version  and the console version is indeed awfull. It lags constantly and looks like a Ps2/Ps3 game. I dont know why this is cuz the Ps4 runs FFXIV just great then why cant it run Neverwinter? 

    Anyway i played Neverwinter long enough to know i will love the game at least thill i hit the max level and then i probbly have to pay to open these loot boxes...

    Nah, you won't have to pay. Keep selling things on the AH until you have 500,000 Astral Diamonds then exchange them for store points.

    It'll take a couple weeks to exchange once you put the order in but when it does you can get VIP for a month and get a key each day. Then sell the stuff you get from the lootboxes on the AH until you have enough to get another 1000 store points and the rest after that is profit. You might even get lucky, get an epic, sell it for millions of AD and then be able to get whatever you want from the cash shop.

    Sell sell sell on the AH if you're a new player. You can only refine 100k rough astral diamonds per day but you can earn an infinite amount by selling things to other players. Don't refine the gems, sell it all on the AH. Earn gold, buy gold bars and then sell them on the AH. Getting VIP for free should be your first priority. Once you have that you will always be able to easily get VIP again + extra.
    I don't suffer from insanity, I enjoy every minute of it.

    This sums up Neverwinters only real issue. 

    I love the game but I always find myself wishing it just was higher quality all around in grpahics and sound.

    But if you can look past that then you will love the game.

    Btw the advice you gave out Dark for going VIP priceless.

    Graphics mean nothing if this game is nothing but a gamble box.   Buy Keys to open RNG boxes, its the game as buying LootBoxes.  Just another waste of a game to me.  This should have been a subscription only game and I would have played.

    neverwinter only looks nice if you have low standands, in a game graphics should be the lowest priority you want to play it
