Legends of Aria has been updated to bring the Dungeon Expansion to live servers. "Wilderness dungeons finally got the love that they deserve," it says in the announcement blog. In addition, PvEers will have a new tool "that will help them avoid unscrupulous ganks". It's a spell called Ward Evil that is only visible to the caster. When an "outcast enemy" enters the circumference, the caster is notified. The goal is to encourage players to venture outside 'safe zones" to explore the new dungeons.

Proud MMORPG.com member since March 2004! Make PvE GREAT Again!
I think having PVP is a good thing for variety but just like Albion starting out hardcore PVP and shifting more PVE is where this game should go cause the number of players willing to throw money at PVE games will determine if this game stays up and running or shuts down in 2 years.
If they add a cosmetic system like or better than Path of Exile they could really cash in my selling cosmetic packs for sustained income. I would throw more money at this game if they increase the PVE activities that promote group play. This is a good start to that but having it in a PVP zone means that gankers will still camp and noobs will not be able to experience the content.

"The truth is that we are making no great move towards a pay to win cash shop and will not do so in the future. Offering such an item for generated loyalty points is a valuable and rewarding addition for our players. We are not comfortable with offering a real money transaction for such an item at this early stage of the game. We are however keeping all doors open for the future."
Seems like a bit of double talk.
Is the game playable right now?
And now. Even that is not enough to stop rampant PK ?
what's wrong with this? it's nearly same system like in Ultima Online, once you was red PK you was outcast, hunted by everyone, killed on sight by guards when you get near city, that's right adrenaline, that's why im still playing ultima online for 20 years... but sadly not on official shards, unique private custom shards is what keeps me playing it all these years

So the "harsh and restrictive" system was not nearly harsh enough. Figures
Brenics ~ Just to point out I do believe Chris Roberts is going down as the man who cheated backers and took down crowdfunding for gaming.
You can buy cheaper cd-key game, but yea... to be honest i play since 3 months, like many other we waited stuff for 3 months, and to day we got a huge pack... then u expect having lots of new stuff...
My deception was never so real in Loa, they just had more bugs, mores exploits, more nerf....
I mean if you guys realy want to have the best experience possible just wait for steam launch since there will be new servers, and it should be ok this time... not like those retard crismon/verdant/azure servers totaly cracked and exploited
No fate but what we make, so make me a ham sandwich please.
You could take that $40 and use it on absolute blockbuster games on Steam and have a year or more value or even longer depending on the game.
Wait for a sale and you could get 3 or 4 or even more games.
Or
Buy Aria and regret everything after a week when you realize the game has about as much depth as a infant bathing tub.
As an early backer that only watched this game regress into oblivion I suggest the former.
But its your money to waste how you like it.
