I enjoyed my time in the closed beta, despite the issues it had.

Good to see this. I really was taking my time with the beta and could always use some more. :)

The world moves forward even when loot boxes are announced to move forward.

Everything does not stop for the new FOTM BR game.
As with many FOTM BR games, apex might not even be worth mentioning by march

But I am looking forward to the division.

Not sure about that one. Apex pulls together successful and good features from a wide variety of games and plugs in their own all into a BR and it does it well. I hardly see Apex dying or losing droves of players anytime soon. Especially if they put out new content at any decent pace. As for the Division 2 - I had fun playing the beta but at the same time it basically felt like just more Division and while that isn't a bad thing and expected cause it IS the sequel, Anthem feel's a bit more "fresh". Both I suspect will do well though. I'll wait an see more of what Division 2 has in store.

Hacks were already found in the division 2's private beta supposedly, some being from the division (first one). RIP.

The con to Apex is that it's going up against a certified cultural phenomenon.  That's a pretty huge con.

The staying power has yet to be determined, and F2P games generally garner large amounts of registrations.  Even F2P migrations of previously box-priced games see large amounts of incoming players (CS:GO doubled their "unique players" to 20 million the month after their F2P transition, and the game isn't FOTM BR and is over six years old).

Apex is making a great splash.  We just gotta see how well it floats after the waters settle.

I am waiting until release to jump into TD2. I feel it will be a solid game that I will get my monies worth out of.

As for Apex, I actually gave it a spin last night despite hating BR games. I had a decent enough time playing a few matches. Game feels polished, controls well, seems to be well thought out for what it is. Given that, I dont see myself playing it much as i prefer an old fashioned death match with respawning and the map not shrinking.

At least Ubisoft had enough sense not to call it a "demo."
