Ok, so basically it's exactly the same as before, but the seller gets their silver instantly from the market instead of waiting for a buyer's purchase. While I personally can't stand BDO's market system AND their lack of player to player trading, they can claim it as a success against gold sellers. However, after my time spent in BDO, I've come to the conclusion that gold sellers are far less of a problem compared to not having player to player trading.
They don't want goldsellers at any cost because that would dip into their profits xD
No player to player trading is definitely one of the bigger downsides to BDO. Then again, it's in line with the rest of the game. Outside of large scale PvP they give you very little reason to ever do anything with another player.

So... bots will keep buying out all vip time packages and we can't do shit about it. Got it.
Accurate. They just made it easier on them. The whole system very much favors whales and bots from what I've heard so far.
As much of a pain the bidding might have been, this is likely not going to be an improvement for anyone that isn't a hardcore player.
That's not to say it doesn't have SOME perks. The centralized funds will be good. No more having to keep 200 mil in each city in case you need to buy something. Selling to the MP itself will be good. The increased prices (goes both ways) might be good. Hard to tell at this point.
But getting rid of the bidding system will do a lot of harm IMO. They will never fully squash the bots, and even if they did, the new system will heavily favor anyone who lives close to the servers.

Just garbage.
