On February 14th, Mad Otter Games issued a statement to let its community know that a hacker had "acquired access to game servers". In a new note, the team reassured its community that all player data is backed up and will be restored in the near future. In addition, players are assured that "player names, addresses, payment or other credit card information, passwords and other personal information were NOT compromised in this security incident".

    Like SO MANY other companies that got hacked, we trully believe them our data is not been compromised what kinda bullsh!t are they selling people ...

    If he had access to the server then he has EVERYTHING. Your encrypted passwords are not safe because they are stored in a database which would have been instantly dumped. Even if they used bcrypt hash they would still be decrypted in a week.

    As of February 25th V&H is still down. Yes, many ppl play this game. The devs have been hosting (daily) live streams on their twitch channel and have dutifully explained everything. Additionally they have offered to compensate the playerbase for timeloss. All in all, good news out of a bad situation.
