I have a $300 Serta AIR Arlington I got for $200 on sale from Office Depot. It has memory foam on top of springs, which is very nice. A good chair is important if you work at a desk all day. The chair in the article seems to be expensive for the sake of being a luxury item. I'm not interested in that at all.
Similar chair in use here (if not the same). There are a lot of good chairs. I want to see what the chair is rated for comfort wise and for how long. This thing looks like it would get uncomfortable fast just given the type of thing laying on the memory foam underneath. Like any sweat or heat would make it uncomfortable.
I'm sympathetic to spending several hundred dollars on a nice computer chair if you're going to use it a lot. But $1400? If you want to charge $1400, you'd better have an awfully good justification for why it's better than what you can get for $600 or $1000.
To each their own. There are people spending 10K or more for ingame spaceship collections, never thought I'd see the day but there it is. Or maybe if you're a steamer and write it off as a business purchase. Or just wait for it to go on sale.

I decided to buy an AKRacing chair, spent around $320 for some pro model that got very good reviews. Worst waste of money ever. The "ergonomic" seat (comletely flat, with some side things my arse never was in contact with) was hard as hell to sit in, never got better though "everyone" said it would after some use. Sold it after a few months.
Currently I have an Ikea chair I paid around $100 for, best buy ever.
Btw, 1400 for this one? I don't care what kind of temperature regulating foam or whatever it's filled with. I don't see anyting about it to justify that price.
For $1400, I can build a new gaming system. Why would I spend this much on JUST THE CHAIR?
I had to have a back surgery 3 years ago and a good chair is definitely super important, but there is nothing about that chair that warrants a $1400 price tag!
Good luck finding some other chump with "MORON" tattooed on their forehead.
I hope they let the writer keep it for their "paid" advertisement on MMORPG.com.
Then again, for that price tag, they probably made him send it back after the review to resell !!!!
LOL L2's new advertisement is wonderful..... Take a step back in time and relive the original Lineage II experience as it was in the beginning. Create a classic hero from the original 5 races and 31 class options and jump into the nostalgic hardcore level grind where the rewards can outweigh the risks. It's your chance to experience the game the way it was when "hardcore" meant something!
The coziest gaming chairs, at least for immersive single-player story driven games, cost around $3,000. Somewhat expensive but they do last easily for decades.

Herman Miller, now that is a great brand to consider if you're willing to plunk down some serious cash on a quality office chair!

It definitely should have at least a poop chute at that price
