Interesting!
If it can only bring back some of the feeling from L4D, then I'm sold.
Though, on the PVP side, I doubt it will ever come close.. L4D was in a class of it's own with the Survivor Vs Special Infected!
I'm still hopeful that Turtle Rock will go back to their roots with Back 4 Blood!
I was actually watching the game thinking it might be cool but after seeing game play ,i was sort of turned off.The zombies look too fake,so i would feel no immersion.yes i know they moved sort of fast in the movie as well and climbed on top of each other but idk it just looks wrong in the game.
However i can't fault them because their design does follow the movie ideas,it just doesn't look good enough for me to get into it.
Never forget 3 mile Island and never trust a government official or company spokesman.
Brenics ~ Just to point out I do believe Chris Roberts is going down as the man who cheated backers and took down crowdfunding for gaming.
But no Steam rating. And stupid Epic store which doesn't accept my card... So pass :-(
Thank you for your time!
Being a pessimist is a win-win pattern of thinking. If you're a pessimist (I'll admit that I am!) you're either:
A. Proven right (if something bad happens)
or
B. Pleasantly surprised (if something good happens)
Either way, you can't lose! Try it out sometime!
I don't blame you, the stuff EGS is pulling is extremly shady and is anti-consumer, we should be allowed to choose where to buy it (most would get it on steam I bet due to features/friends on it). Competition IS good, but not the way Epic is doing it, as there is no competition there. I'm already losing out on borderlands 3 for 6 months due to epic's crap.

edit: nevermind. Purchased the game right away. It looks better than TD2 and cost half the price.
Thank you for your time!
This is a multiplayer-focused game, so if you can't multiplay with your friends because your friends don't or won't use that platform, that's a big strike against it.

From what I gather (have'nt played it yet...), it has no replayability if you are the kind of player who does a map only one time and call it a quit.. but those kind of games are usually not about "the campaign" and more about counting on the "AI Director" to mix things up a bit, while you replay the same map at increased difficulty level, trying other things, leveling up classes, etc.
(A bit like Vermintide 2, or L4D which did not even have classes nor levels)
Its certainly not for everyone though, and I can understand some might think that there is no replay value in that.
