The Albion Online team is celebrating the successful free-to-play launch of the game earlier this month and is already planning big things in the near future. The Outland expansion will offer all players, but particularly new players, a chance to grab some land for themselves when it launches with GvG Season 6 currently targeting early May. The new regions are Siluria and West and East Glouvia. Land will be claimable "in two waves on the second Invasion Day of Season 6".

    Can't get the game to launch and there's very little info on how to fix the issue. I uninstalled and won't waste my time any more as there are far better games to play without the hassle.

    I Did the tutorial -Left the Island-Uninstalled - now thinking about giving it a second chance.

    My clan from DFUW (miss the times...) was part from very first alpha, among other Darkfall and Mortal Online clans. The progression over the years was really really underwhelming. It was kind of doomed long before release.

    I think for me the game has improved greatly but the combat is just so boring/basic that I can't get excited about playing it again.

    The game has actually improved quite a bit since alpha after watching the guys stream for a bit on twitch.

    Though the problem with the game still remains the "Customer Service Experience" and "Developers" who have blame the players many times for their own actions and mistakes, including false bans in the past.

    With the F2P Launch though if they actually made enough money to hire more developers, improve the customer service experience instead of always just accuse players the game could be a lot better.

    The problem with the patches though is it seems like almost everytime there is a major patch or update an exploit is introduced into the game that gets players banned some deserve it others are accidental for example, the Gold Exchange bug that recently happened when the game went free 2 play.

    Though you gotta remember there is a character named DIVA, eating up all the land in "Fort Sterling" which I believe maybe a player of "The Bank OF Albion Guild" basically buy everything up, Tax everyone insanely and hand out payouts to investors.

    ^ Though the key-note to know about this is that guild violates 4.5.1 of the EULA since launch and has been allowed to do it while others got the ban hammer.

    Something really needs to be done about that IMO handing back power to the actual players of the game not a monopoly guild.

    The game is super average. But to complain about one monopoly guild is just lazy. Make your own island and be free, nothing stopping you except your laziness.

    It made my day when the Founder/CEO of Albion Online resigned to work $130K/yr role at a meal delivery company! :p
