The latest Vampire: The Masquerade - Bloodlines 2 clan to be introduces is the Tremere clan, the group that specializes in blood magic and the ability to weaponize it. In the original game, the Tremere was part of one of the "good" endings and its chantry was seen as "a place of stability and purpose".

Since they don't have actual gameplay to show, we're getting introduced to the Vampire: The Masquarade manual. Or re-introduced in the case of old farts like us.

Still awaiting the Ventrue reveal. Let's be honest: all the other clans are playing at small potatoes while us Ventrue run the world.
Sadly, us MMO-enthusiasts are getting more excited about a single-player game than the new MMOs on display lately.
Technically speaking and based on what we know of the narrative, short of the player character diablerizing an older vampire or some plot armor-esque writing... We should qualify for none of these clans as Thinbloods.
Now that my inner IP nerd has been sated, I'll follow up with: I officially switch sides from Ventrue to Tzimisce if they're playable. Just so I can make mindless pets and furniture out of my enemies.
However, that would remove all player choice from the game; the Thinblood would, for all intents and purposes (if not "officially"), become a ghoul, subject to the whims of the regnant whose vitae was consumed. You'd spend the entire game doing exactly what the regnant told you. Which, in a Bioshock twist kind of way, could be cool.
It'd be quite an interesting narrative if they go that route.
EDIT- Maybe if they went the route of a rogue ghoul, and you actually fed on other vampires to sustain yourself... Now that'd be quite the unique take on the genre!
SPOILER ALERT!!!
The magical order's leaders decided to become vamps when they realised magik was fading from the world. Next best thing I guess.
They focused on blood magic which seems fitting.
The best thing about the first game was playing through all the clans.

Brenics ~ Just to point out I do believe Chris Roberts is going down as the man who cheated backers and took down crowdfunding for gaming.
Not sure what clan to play? Here is my handy guide:
Do you like to hang out on street corners? Brujah.
Do you like to hang out in parks? Gangrel.
Do you like to hang out in asylums? Malkavian.
Do you like to hang out in sewers? Nosferatu.
Do you like to hang out in art galleries? Toreador.
Do you like to hang out in spooky buildings? Tremare.
Do you like to hang out in corporate HQ's? Ventrue.
Sorted.
Single player is where it's at right now. That's where the best games are, and have always been.
