Elder Scrolls Online's latest chapter, Elsweyr, launched on PC yesterday and to the surprise of no one - it's good stuff. It's no secret that ESO has been my go-to MMO for the past several years, and this Khajiit and Dragon infused expansion seems to be more icing and an already delightful cake.

One complaint about the classes in this game is they all feel the same to me in most ways when it comes to combat. Never mind they all can use the same weapons, the core abilities all feel the same too, just different graphics and slight variances in animations. Necro is no different so far in that respect. Just new spell effects to look at. I will keep playing with the necro because why not? I do just as well with a level 1 as I do my level 50 in open world. Might as well see if the class shines more with all the skill lines maxed.
Since the new character inherits CP points it can more then take care of himself. They could use more diversity with classes.

Try to be excellent to everyone you meet. You never know what someone else has seen or endured.
My Review Manifesto
Follow me on Twitter if you dare.
Biggest issue is necromancer dont have perma pet. image sorc have 2 perma pet while necro dont have any. i just dont understand logic here.
I have seen comments before from players about the fact they have a lot of content and it is time to do something new. Various things have been mentioned from raids to sprucing up the combat system (animation cancelling should be part of gaming's history now, not a system still in place).
The Thievery system was very well received something new like that would hit the mark really well.
This time I'm grinding him to 50 then doing the Elsweyr storyline, then a few other dlc storylines in order to add skills from those unique lines.
If a game has a Necro in it I play it. So far so good with one. Could be better could have been worse I suppose. Can't really say until I finish a good build. It's not a weak class.

They probably look at what happens when WoW does this and decide not to. Their formula is working and getting "creative" at this point is likely seen as a risk.
In the Elder Scrolls, as far as I can remember, all skeletons/zombies, etc were always temporary. I never played Daggerfall so don't have any knowledge of whether one could raise dead and if those minions stayed until destroyed.

Still, something just doesn't work for me. I don't mind the slow speed of combat at times, sometimes it works sometimes it doesn't. What really kills it for me is the story. The main story and the chapter stories are all so crappy and slow, while some of the best writing I've seen in an online game is coming from random side quests.
I admit that I haven't played in a while and only got about half way through Summerset before just putting it down and walking away, so who knows maybe it'll get better.
BillyBoy here is right !
Its like peeling a banana and then there is no meat under the peel but hey ! at least you have banana peel now ( you can throw in on the ground and hope one will fall ) That is what ESO is
Its a tough line.
Its also a system that is found in books. Sherri Tepper's Chronicles of Mavin Manyshaped being one that is very like this.
