everquest hands down. Can you imagine a reset of the whole game starting from scratch with updated graphics combat animations? GD it would be beautiful!
“Tecmo Super Bowl, and I'm interpreting "today's graphics" to mean making all roster years available rather than being frozen in the early 1990s.”
Go Raiders! For me, it’d be the old Sierra 4x, Lords of Magic. Also, part of me wants to play Everquest with the original graphics and UI again, even if only for a few hours.

Vault-Tec analysts have concluded that the odds of worldwide nuclear armaggeddon this decade are 17,143,762... to 1.
Darkfall online, granted the game needs alot of work in other areas. I just wish there could be another first person/tight 3rd mmofpsrpg like it, without the flaws and deep content for playstyles other than pvp.
Why that one? Horse-themed games can be awesome, but, I think in that one you don't get to either breed the racehorses or drive them in the races??
I want to help design and develop a PvE-focused, solo-friendly, sandpark MMO which combines crafting, monster hunting, and story. So PM me if you are starting one.
SSI Gold Box - Pool of Radiance, Curse of the Azure Bonds, Secret of the Silver Blades, Pools of Darkness
Betrayal at Krondor
ChronoCross
Parasite Eve
Legend of the Dragoon
MegaTraveller 1 and 2
Guild Wars
SSI Gold Box - Krynn series - Champions, Death Knights, and Dark Queen
Mario Kart 64
Ocarina of Time
Arcanum
Some of those need a complete reboot not just a graphics retooling.
Mega Traveler 1 and 2 especially need a complete revamp. Both interesting games (well, character creation systems, blocked from the real game by an archaic protection scheme) but the interface may be pre-Egyptian, with a ghastly color scheme. The game starts, and your characters are shot while you're trying to figure out the controls. If you actually get to an NPC and start the story, the dialog is all upper case on yet another horrid colored background. These may be the least attractive games I've ever attempted to play. I wish I could actually look at the game long enough to determine if they are good games. But, Mega Traveler!

FFXI,easy choice, best mmorpg ever so making it even better is two thumbs up from me.
However in saying that,i want way more than just a simple visual upgrade,i want games to continue to improve, better systems, more creativity, more interaction and way less hand holding and ugly fake markers ruining the immersion.
There is a very large gap between what we are playing and what devs are capable of,a VERY large gap,we are being sold half assed gaming. So yeah sure,i'll take a FFXI visual upgrade but i want more,a lot more.
Never forget 3 mile Island and never trust a government official or company spokesman.
Age of Conan - My top choice. It's truly the most fun I've had in an MMO outside of EVE Online, and EVE Online gets graphical updates bi-annually, so I don't even have to wish it looked better.
Lots of Runners up:
Star Wars Galaxies (Do we get to bring games back from the dead too?) Planetside 1 (Staying on the resurrection theme) Baldur's Gate I & 2 Icewind Dale 1 & 2 Fallout 1 & 2 KOTOR 1 & 2
Honestly, there are so many older games that I would love to replay on modern graphics that you'd have a hard time getting me to play newer games if any of these were made.

Shining Force series
Phantasy Star series
Landstalker
Dark Cloud
MMORPG:
LOTRO, I was just thinking this weekend, I wish LOTRO could upgrade to BDO visuals...
Sorry, I've been on a Sega RPG kick lately...ha
Gut Out!
What, me worry?
SWG and Vanguard
I would say EQ but I think it still wouldn't appeal to many mmo players.
Star Wars is always an appealing frangise to a MMO/RPG gamer.

This isn't a signature, you just think it is.
