Shai Awakening is a guitar, will this be the ultimate support class (bard)?

If this will be a true support class, I will play it more than once in a while :)

    Does BDO have any sort of content which requires or would benefit from a support class?

    My impression is BDO is a mostly solo centric game.

    looks like a mandolin.

    with eight pegs you would have the 2 lower strings at octaves and the two upper strings doubled.

    I would say pvp except I wonder if a support class would even be useful in Black Desert's pvp. Kano had commented on it and indicated that he thought the class useless.

    Yeh, I have no idea if it will be useful but imo they are trying to create a support class with the shai (see pic) ap buff for everyone, heal, I can regen resources (wp,sp,mp), make a shield, give a crit buff and heal, who knows what more the awakening will give.

    About Shai

    Shais excel at providing buffs on the battlefield. While they can fight off incoming threats with their giant boomerangs, they can also avoid dangerous situations through their swift movements. Their versatility allows them to protect or heal those around them.

    We previously revealed to you an image of Shai with her instruments through the June 15th announcement.

    However, that was only the tip of the iceberg!

     

    ‘Tring’ in the form of a lute,

    ‘Tute’ in the form of a flute,

    ‘Tamtam’ in the form of djembe.

     

    Unlike other classes who are awakened into new sources of power,

    Shai will ‘discover Talents’ to learn the melody of light and start utilizing three types of musical instruments as her weapon!

     

    What will Shai show with her newly-discovered talents?

     

    Three Musical Instruments, Multiple Talents

    Celestial Light

     

    Greatly empowers Shai herself

    through a performance imbued with aurora’s light.

    By using this skill, Shai

    obtains an outstanding temporary buff effect.

     

     

    Song of Courage

     

    Shai plays this piece to her friends

    to give them courage to overcome their fears.

    The powerful performance is materialized into a brave bear

    and frightens the enemies.

     

    Forest Frenzy

     

    Shai often plays this piece

    whenever she wants to relieve her anger.

    You better not make Shai angry,

    since the Forest Spirit might express Shai’s anger

    for her.
