    This game looks so saccharine I doubt diabetics can even play it.

    EQ1, EQ2, SWG, SWTOR, GW, GW2 CoH, CoV, FFXI, WoW, CO, War,TSW and a slew of free trials and beta tests

    Yup you called it. Struggling to stop the servers from having Ques on a daily basis, Struggling to allow character creation on most servers because they are over capacity or did you mean struggling to find players, then no not even close.

    I switched to one of the new servers and even there I have ques all troughout the day. Dungeon ques as DD are great too. You never wait longer than 5 minutes during prime time.

    I don't think I have ever seen any game struggling to get members less than this one. It seems that every time they come out with a new expansion they have to increase the number of servers, and every one of those servers is packed. North America just added another data center to help with the load. Final Fantasy XIV now has 24 servers in North America, 32 servers in Japan, and 12 in Europe. I can safely say that this game is not struggling to get members. All you have to do to find out why the game is doing so well is download the trial version and give it a go.

    I just came to shadowbringer and completed the first dungeon
    I thought heavensward was good when it released but good damn shadowbringer is amazing
    Didnt care much for Stormblood

    You do realize that the Veira race has been a thing in Final Fantasy lore since before Final Fantasy XIV right? They were first introduced in Final Fantasy Tactics Advance which launched in both Japan and the US in 2003. I would recommend you research the race and the lore of Final Fantasy before throwing assumptions around. The reason it was introduced in XIV is because it was a highly requested race since Heavensward.

    That being said, you also do realize that Square Enix is a Japanese company and the dev-team for Final Fantasy XIV are located in Japan right? Japanese culture is a lot different than western culture.

    I know what a lot of people might thing, but FFXIV is not a bad game to be honest, and while the panty shot can come across as them seeming desperate, it really is just fan service, it's an eastern style game, and that is a very typical anime kind of scene.

    For those that don't play it, don't read too much into it. For those that do, I hope you all enjoy the festival.

    Lots of new and old players in the game. Game is doing well. Large diverse playerbase. You sometimes get kicked out because the server gets over loaded.

    This isn't a signature, you just think it is.

    Never said Viera were 'introduced' in 14 but I am sure everyone here appreciated the history lesson. So here is a lesson for you. Pandering means to indulge, gratify, satisfy, or cater to. Now in terms more specifically referencing items like anime, manga, or more recently gaming the term often used is fan service. Which many in this thread have also pointed out. So I would recommend you do some research into the meanings of words before you decide to so poorly troll a member of this community.

    Many, many girls in Japan wear extremely short skirts. Just walk around in a busy area in Tokyo for a day and you’ll be surprised/shocked.

    'This does not apply just to ED but SC or any other game. What they will get is Rebirth/X4, likely prettier but equally underwhelming and pointless. 

    It is incredibly difficult to design some meaningfull leg content that would fit a space ship game - simply because it is not a leg game.

    It is just huge resource waste....'
