That is pretty fast. Safe to say this game was not abandoned.

I don't know much about Hello Games, but given the amount of fixes/builds they've had to release in the last week since this update came out, it really seems like they do not have a QA department at all. Anyone know if that's true?

Probably not at the level they need for an update the size they just pushed out. At least they are fixing it. I own many games with known issues as old as the game.

Nice to see they are so active! a nice example that people can redeem themselves.

Basically clicking away text windows ruins every MMO, try to have fun instead of rushing things. Without story and lore all there is left is a bunch of mechanics.

How is the multiplayer in the game now? Is it completely drop in and out? No messing about to play with friends?
I don't suffer from insanity, I enjoy every minute of it.

I got to the MP hub last night. I'm trying to figure out what I WANT to do. I traded a ship and it was on a planet with sentinels... I spent about 2 hrs gathering (and running) from the over aggressive buggers. Bad luck but every planet in the system was full of them. So I jump to space, and was schmeered by a group of 6 pirates. These were NPCs mind you. Not even real people, I've turned of social interaction to keep my FUN mine.

For me, the most important fix since the last patch has been remapping keys, that works again now, everything else is just a really nice bonus

It is a funny world we live in.
We had Empires run by Emperors, we had Kingdoms run by Kings, now we have Countries...

wonder if they fixed the stuff disappearing on your base, something to do with the signal booster.

Thanks.  Based on this, I loaded up NMS to see this for myself.  Not only fixed, but the UI for the remapping function is much improved.  The Shift absolutely has to be on a mouse button for me due to my carpal tunnel in my left hand.

The E key still operates differently in space.  It will tag an item (a base, a space station, etc), but doesn't lock the item or do the clock animation.  A second E (trying to verify the lock) attempts to land.

Game controller controls.  What can I say.  These are the types of issues (limitations) we PC types have to put up with on games ported from a console.

Logic, my dear, merely enables one to be wrong with great authority.
