Try logging into WoW Classic last night? So did a lot of people. After 15 years many players thought Blizzard would have a plan to handle massive log in queues. The result showed players that it may not be the case.

    Ah, these bourgeois WOW classicists and their impatience. In 2004, I sat in a queue where it was snowing. Now begone, or I shall taunt you a second time.

    Unless you "charge" into terrain, then you just get kicked off server.

    Back in my day, we had to wait in queue during a blizzard, both ways up hill.

    Bunch o' sissies, what would the Classic experience be without long queue times?

    One hour waits? Two hours easy for months on end, if the server wasn't crashed, must have made an alt on a half dozen other servers just to mess around while waiting for timer to come up on my main.

    I thought long queues were just part of the classic experience. It was always like that back in the day, as well as now with a lot of games day one starts.

    English servers: 141,800
    Firemaw - High - 23,500
    Shazzrah - High - 23,500
    Golemagg - High - 22,500
    Gehennas - High - 21,500
    Mograine - High - 15,500
    Razorgore - Medium - 10.000
    Flamelash - Medium - 8500
    Noggenfogger - Medium - 6000
    Gandling - Medium - 5000
    Stonespine - Medium - 3200
    Ashbringer - Medium - 2600
    Dreadmist - Low - 0 // It is now med pop with a queue.

    All English servers now have queues!

    Approximately 142,000 players was queueing to get in to a PvP server when I did my research! We have that ‘‘ONE’’ server to populate but 142,000 players can’t join that one server… There will be a queue on that server too, create a toon on Dreadmist today and you will be stuck in a queue in 1-2 days. More players will buy a subscription to play WoW:Classic, and all will have to queue with the others in the massive queue.

    This is the current queues for German and French and Russian servers.

    German servers: 44,400
    Lucifron High 23,000
    Venoxis High 14,000
    Patchwerk Medium 4,000
    Dragon’s Call Medium 1,400
    Transcendence - Low 0

    French servers: 24,500
    Sulfuron - High - 18,000
    Amnennar - Medium - 6,500
    Finkle - Low

    Russia: approximately 21,400
    I got this information from a russian player but it looks to be right.

    Total EU players in a PvP server queue: 142,000 + 90,000 = 232,000
    There might be a little less or a little more when you read this.

    There is no one's fault. Cant handle things like that. Patience thats it. For sure they're trying their best.

    i waited 51min in queue on a new server. Was expecting it. Didnt crash. After a couple hours i even logged out to get some add on and no queue. This was around 9pm pst.

    Kinda an issue.

    Sure, they could bring new servers online to try and balance that out, but they need to be able to guarantee those servers are going to last in population count, otherwise it's just a temporary solution that causes later complications as they then have to cycle into server merges more quickly.

    Not exactly a good option for them either way, unless they wait some time to see if the excess player counts remain stable enough to validate a new server getting spinned up.

    It's really annoying, but I think right now players just need to be patient and let Blizzard have some time to deal with it. It's less than a day after launch, and they're constantly adding new servers so right now they are reacting to the problem.

    It wasn't that large, but a lot of the bigger streamers started playing it on Hardcore mode which I guess is entertaining to watch? Not for me. Also quite a few streamers have been doing competitions on there against eachother. Not really sure what caused all of it.

    Think I'll stick with Netflix, been watching this show (while playing POE) called "Better than Us", pretty good really.

    Watching people play games...whoo  boy.

    And here i was thinking people wanted the real deal... So they will have to deal with it... 

    Also give it a few days and things will calm down.
