im lvl 35 and feel iv spent to much time in the last week playing lol. ill be taking a few months to get to 60 not having a game run my life. if it was new maybe but this is still very good taking its age and comparing the game play to current games.
Kinda funny how one's perspective changes over time. When I first started MMOs two decades ago, my response would've "Wow! This guy must be really good!"
Nowadays it's "...Is this really something news worthy...? Who the fuck cares?"

Yeah, this already was a thing back in 2004. It's weird how people keep acting like everything is a first. The game came out in 2004 which means everything has already happened.

Nowadays its all about the "race" to world first rather than enjoying the actual fuckin game. I mean they literally had world first race streams going on with top guilds and known streamers on twitch.. I mean really? My god have we fallen on hard times when we have people streaming world first races on a classic WoW server...What the fuck is with people.
I guess that just means those guys will be bored that much quicker since there's a content cap and it aint going any further. Bravo.
"Lots of good mmo out there, wasting time on wow classic lul"
The ironic thing is that it's not a true classic experience. Lots and lots of under the hood changes. Exp rate for starters, mob difficulty second, the way classes scale from gear/attack power is different(stronger). There's lots and lots of things that are just not true classic WoW. But yet, some people will argue otherwise. That's perfectly fine, those people can think that it is. Whatever gets them a chubby.
Does 79 hours mean that not that many are bothered? Am I the only one to think that this is not that quick?
Actually this is a record time. the record before that was a ranger at 6 days. It might seems quick by most today standard of mmos, but this is classic and you really have to grind it way much longer I grind my tauren to max need at least 14-15 days. Most games today you can max level your toon in 3 days.
Congratulations you have won....... oh yeah nothing....... The things you can do when you have no job or life lol
i wouldn't go that way...
if nothing is for you all the $$ he gets from the stream session... i dont have the real number but i think he earn more than thousand of $$ this way
for 96h playing a game, not bad no?
edit: 300k ppl watching him when he reach 60, if only 0.1% give hime 1$, i let you count

Heaven forbid someone take time off work for a video game launch. Shame... Shame... Shame... *bell ringing in the distance*
Taking time off of work to play WOW or killing a weekend gaming is one thing, Hitting level 60 in under a week is something entirely different. This involves unhealthy amounts of sleep deprivation as well as improper eating. Someone suggested maybe multiple people were involved in the leveling process but if one guy or gal did this on their own ,they need to get their fucking head checked , and priority's straight.

Certain professions can have people work 100+ hours a week under bery stressful conditions. In a 3 day period of work, if things are bad enough, i may put in on average 16 hours a day and i think my record for work in one week was 110 hours or so.
Remember you are awake for about 16 hours a day, easy to play a lot while doing nothing else.

OK. I was just converting it to normal "elapsed time" - so c. 26 days at 3 hours a day, c. 20 days for someone doing 4 hours etc. and those types of timescale seemed on the low side. Of course back then, as now, there were people who played longer so maybe that skews the memories.

Or perhaps someone who doesn't work.
Your job must be awful if you can't take a few days off.
