If they can't get puchases/people per server equaling how many servers they needed correct, I highly doubt they'll be getting much right. Goodluck though!
The archepass sucks get rid of it entirely or revamt it completely . I cant even get past lv 1 as a solo player total BS . Plus working a 9-5 gives me like zero time to dedicated to an archepass when I'd rather be playing the sandbox the way I want to . Total rip . If I lived in my parents basement and could dedicated 20 hours a day to the game then maybe I wouldn't deal quite like this but with the exploit the gear gaps are already getting stupid might as well stayed pay to win at least I could have max bag space another crock . Why why can't I have more bag space ?Without the ability to get dilagence items disabling the archepass is not the answer. Get ride of diligence entirely and give us a way to earn store credit like startrek online you can earn in-game dilithium and exchange it for premium currency called Zen . Gating store items behind this archepass is total bs
In other news - having a great time in game. No problems. Queue times aren't bad, especially now. No P2W. Lots of PvP. Hope all of you watching from the outside decide to suck up your egos and come have some fun.
The only thing I seen wrong with the archpass is a bug where you can get the 50 gold one repetitivly which is being patched out tomorrow in the fix.
You get 5-10 gold per archepass quest.
You get 18-90 gold per tradepack turned in. (Aka there is ways to make alot more money then the archepass)
I honestly see nothing wrong with the archepass once they remove the boss spam exploit.
Now the exploit has allowed players to make 1000s and 1000s of gold. Which Gamigo stated those who uses the exploit and those who used the exploit would be penalized.
In game honestly... Most people seem to actually really like the archpass system. I am not seeing anyone want it removed. Just the exploit fixed.
The ArchePass needs work. It's the only major issue I have with the game really. It seems alright when you're levelling but at endgame it's just a big boring daily grind. One of the hot topics about this is mine.
I don't suffer from insanity, I enjoy every minute of it.
I used to love logging into these games and explore or interact with other people, experiencing things at my own pace and making my own fun. Now, you are told by the game to log in and goto certain spots and do certain things, with certain weapons/classes even. It forces you to play the game just like everyone else, in a monotonous repetitive way.
This is one of the things I hate about "modern" MMOs and other online games, these dailies/weeklies, and now season passes. They turn the games into chores that you must log into the games to do everyday, kinda like going to work. Force you to play the game a certain way, some forces you to play the game more/faster than you normally would. Sucks the fun out of the games for me, causes early burnout.
And yeah I know, you are not "forced" to do these dailies or work on these season passes, but often you find yourself lagging behind the rest of the community, and you get a feeling of... almost like being punished for not doing the content. But meh, that's the way games are nowadays, and probably won't change anytime soon. I don't know, guess I'm just getting older and slowing down, and the games have just evolved past me?

It's a shit system - they literally looked at Fortnite monetization and thought - hey we can do that too - except that that they lack the actual skill to put in a good system.
There's honestly about a hundred things I'd rather be doing in the game than grinding out kill quests, wasting labor or fighting for a tag on a world boss. There's already enough of that without the Pass that you need to do to get your infusions and awakening scrolls. The benefits of doing them are too high to ignore though. They are the only way to get more inventory space.
A lot of people are calling for daily login archepass rewards. They don't know what they are asking for. Some things in the Diligence store (currency reward from basic archepasses) can be sold and are crazy valuable, like inventory expansions. If daily rewards are put in, alt accounts don't even need to play the game to make a crap ton of gold, they just need to log in once a day.
The hottest topic on Reddit is about getting login rewards instead... *sigh*. The players are going to destroy the game before Gamigo even get the chance to. I tried to tell them but just got down voted to hidden.

You do realize that Gamigo acquired social media influncer companies in several past years and they used them to manipulate YouTube videos as well as reddit posts?
Nah, I'm not buying that, at least not in this case. The players are asking for the login rewards themselves, it's all over Nation chat and everything. Hardly anyone is saying it would be a bad idea. There'd be way more than me and one other guy that's been hidden if that was happening.
Majority of players are dumb or just don't care about alt accounts... or have alt accounts and want it to happen.
If Gamigo do put in the login rewards, everything in the Diligence store will need to be made bound or the P2W issues will crop up when people eventually realise.

More meta-gaming crap and more currencies... hurrah?

You know what I love about White Knights who defend games? The fact they aren't even playing the game, but rather spending their time posting in game forums. I just realized, that in all my years of gaming, not once did I ever stop playing a game I was having a blast in, just to comment on a thread, let alone 3, 4 or 5 threads. If I like a game and the game is good or popular, it speaks for itself. Maybe it's just me, but I'd rather be playing the game that's so awesome than defending it from obvious flaws on gaming site forums. Just my opinion of course.
Are you referring to me here? You should read the whole thread...
What you said works both ways anyway. Why are you here commenting on 3, 4 or 5 threads? There must be something that you'd rather be playing right now instead of posting about a game you don't even care about.
What a pointless and hypocritical comment.

I was playing WoW Classic actually, but you know, #BoycottBlizzard kind of ended that. So, what's so hypocritical about that? If ArcheAge was a subscription only server with no cash shop, I'd be playing it with you. I'm just not falling for the same bullshit that's been happening for years with Asian PvP MMOs. First it was this game, then it was Blade & Soul, then Black Desert Online, then Revelation Online, then Bless Online. The trend is always the same, F2P, PvP, cash shops that favor P2W elements along with a plethora of convenience requirements that basically end up costing more than what it would cost to pay just the usual $15 a month. I have my reasons for raining on this shit show you claim is a parade.
Yeh, you still didn't read the whole thread.
It's always us vs them with you types. Can't ever see what's really being said due ignorance and stubbornness.
I have a problem with the ArchePass, it's shit right now. I deny that the World Boss thing is an exploit because it's not fair that Gamigo are calling people exploiters simply for using the quest system Gamigo gave to them. Gamigo fucked up either way, I'm not defending them.
.. and, for the record, I'm currently processing about 200 lumber and 2000 potions so that's why I'm tabbed out.

That is so deliciously ironic I'll consider adding it to my sig.

Exactly what is an ArchePass?

Gotta give it to you, i have been watching the news posts and always saw your comments about how this would happen and so it does^^
It's fun watching the fire burn isn't it haha
