ok... they ban 200 but if you read closely ; "those who heavely abusing this exploit"
for normal abuse, no ban so you can find in game now ppl with high end gear only ONE week after release!
THIS IS a big JOKE
i asked for refund but i think i just throw money in a stupid faith in them
in one month, it will be empty cause mmore than half of my server is already l55 and high gear.
all others things in game like craft etc are nearly nonsense as they give you a pack of gear at start to upgrade, the loot are just crap etc
i'm really pissed off
Yeah on the discord they also said that they gave people warnings. So if this exploit was kept on the down low I wonder if they would have ignored it or still tried to fix it.
You shouldn't get banned for playing the game if the developers did it, and you technically never read the news then how do you know its an exploit .
Devs should just do a better job and these things wouldn't happen.
That is a very good point! XL Games designed it this way. If they really did not want people to "abuse" it they should have taken out the ability to re-roll the missions before this version went live. Whatever missions you got, then you are stuck with until reset.

Really officer I never studied the rule book so I didn't know I couldn't drive through the stop sign so you shouldn't give me a ticket!
Please you know if something is not right!!!
On the pts shouldn't they have caught this problem? Was this issue brought up and then ignored? It was not like someone downloaded a hack to do this. This whole thing this is a giant screw up by XL Games since they programmed it. With all of the layers of quality control and planning that the arche pass would have had to have gone through, somehow they missed this in Korea? And how were people just supposed to automatically know that they weren't supposed to use a system XL Games put into place? And if this was so serious of and exploit as some like to call it why wasn't it temporarily turned off or at least the ability to re roll the quests turned off?
As per your analogy the Gamigo rule book has been written by a toddler with a marker. That was most likely the main reason why they are un-banning people because the rules were not clear.
Great glad the band went down, now if we could get like 5 more servers or do something about these day long quews I would like to play the mmo I purchased.
After queue, freeze,dc on login, random dc ingame, archpass exploit, only 200+ banned players over tens of thousands of players doesnt seems correct, ppl are getting unbanned and gold is already in economy so all they can do to fix it, to be fair is to do server reroll which they wont do, people with 2-3 accounts are going to be so rich and they allow up to 3 accounts meaning more queue, freeze,dc on login, also prices of items are going to be little higher then what would be like usual if everyone had 1 account, sooooooo many dailys it is crazy, players cant even enjoy game they just do dailys and they are afraid if they skip 50% of dailys that next they soo many people will get ahead of them (yea, skip 50% of dailys for 7 day and u will see), for me it is DailyArcheAge.... i asked for refund if i dont get it, then i will open paypal claim, if i still dont refund am going to bank and get my money 100%.
Let me see if I got this right. The game devs (or whomever is running the game) allowed players to take quests that give them lots of gold. They don't limit how many times the player can do this quest. They even allow them to refuse a quest and get a different one until one pops up they like. Some people found that combination allowed them to get more gold than usual. And they're blaming the players for the devs stupidity and the players inability to read the minds of the devs to find out the "gold limit per day" they now apparently intended?
Well this is a totally bad sign for anyone that hoped this version of Archeage would be better.

Many LC members were recently banned from arche age unchained for the exploiting. Magically, they were all unbanned with no repercussions. This to me was very odd behavior.
Two nights before the banwave, they were boasting in Nation chat on East Denistrious offering 10,000 gold for 500-600 Gilda. They advertised it numerous times for that and even confirmed it in the chat with someone on reddit.

This is my stance on it too. People that kept doing it after they stated it was against TOS deserve to be banned but not anyone that did it before.
It wasn't even an outlier. The world boss quests gave 50g, the dungeon quests gave 35g, the vocation and kill quests gave 5-20g. Everything looked exactly like it was done intentionally. Rerolling quests after reaching the free daily change limit costs Gilda and gold, it's an intentional feature and it still is.
Where's the part where players were circumventing some part of the system? Where's the part where it looked like a bug or mistake?
I don't suffer from insanity, I enjoy every minute of it.
Some of you are just being stupid now. They didn't unban 200 players. 70 of them were on my server in the Laughing Coffins Guild. Not one got there account back. 5 streamers in that group.
This is a fact. I know first hand. What do you know as a fact? Not fucking shit...

The game has been out for a week and already has to ban jerk offs. Staying far away from this mess.
Better not play any mmo then. Cause this crap happens in literally every mmo that has ever existed.
Indeed. I've been in more than a few betas for MMOs and already saw groups of botters running around, similar unpronounceable names, same gear, running in perfect lockstep, sometimes outright warping around. I've seen people using hacks/cheats that allowed them to float around out of reach, etc..
If a MMORPG has an active population, people will be cheating/botting/exploting. It's inevitable. These people aren't playing the same game as you or me. Their interest in the game is trying to game it.
The important thing is if and/or how the developer deals with it.
Yep only a bit over 200 players exploited bosses for gold.
Thanks Gamigo for getting every single exploiter.
Lol
Good grief... does your crying ever stop? First you cried on another post that the bans were only temporary. Now that you find out they are permanent you cry about how many were banned.
You have re-earned the title of the most ignorant troll. Congratulations.
This guy Kano is probably the Worst Commenter on the Site. Nothing but Negative Bullshit or just Twisting the Truth every time he opens his mouth. Be pretty nice if he caught ban on the site just from all the shit he spews.
Then use the ignore feature if you don't like what he has to say.

I think he works in the gaming industry and has very good insight into gaming but he does shit on almost everything though. You could look at it as passion for gaming purity.
He has many good insights, I wouldn't ignore him. There are others I would ignore for sure.

You're really starting to sound like a pathetic broken and bitter record now.
I feel some measure of pity for you that you can't move on and be happy.

Turned out that one of their CM is corrupt and has affiliation with the said guild.
This news post should've been updated or deleted as they are no longer relevant.
