I'm not a fan of many AAA titles and played several more "indie" MMOs over the past few years. I've been absent from the scene for the past 2 years though, so I'm looking to see what's around.
As the subject says - New and populated. New within the past 6 months. Populated as in, 1,000 + people on a server. Another very strong preference would be official commercial servers... the way MMOs used to be, hence the "massive" in their name
So, essentially not a Steam game that only has 150 playing and a mile-long list of personal servers with 0-24 people logged in. More like the typical WoW list with a handful of official servers that could have hundreds of people each.
Are there any new games, of any type in the MMO genre, out there like that anymore?

Ones I know about.
EQ1, EQ2, SWG, SWTOR, GW, GW2 CoH, CoV, FFXI, WoW, CO, War,TSW and a slew of free trials and beta tests
That’s the newest reasonably populated MMO.
Or give Classics a go if you never played Vanilla WoW.
