    Once again, the ignorant are the first to chime in.

    Every day when I log in, half of the servers have a que and the other half have a population of High. It's far from dead. Don't you guys have a window to lick or something?

    From everything you saw you really belive that servers are populated? As i said few days ago i wouldnt be suprise if they lowered server capacity so it looks like servers are still populated.

    I see a lot of people, and I'm on the lowest population server in NA. Enough people that if you don't group up with the people around you doing the same quests, it would take much longer because you'd be waiting for mobs to respawn.

    Your tinfoil hat theory about dropping server capacity for the appearance of a high population is telling that you don't think clearly when it comes to this game (maybe other games, who knows).

    Don't become another DMKano spewing out ignorant garbage. One is already too many.

    Half of the exploits can be done in game without any 3rd party tools - so cheating? It's just badly implemented features and poor coding.

    If you can exploit a feature in game - vast majority of players will do it - case in point ArcheAge.

    If you think I am anything like this in RL - :) - you'd be surprised mate :)

    I tend to play like Red described, mainly solo with a focus on crafting, etc. I don't really like open world PvP with gankers, etc. And I don't like to rush to endgame.

    Is the game fun for someone like that? I just want a little farm with some stuff to do and explore some.

    You can try but unfortunately out in the open world you will be open to getting killed in PvP. Also people can steal your crops.

    so point out the game is full of exploits being bitter? damn, I did herad people don't like to be told teh truth, but flat out calling people for telling the truth is kinda sad

    I give kano main issue is he don't care about games or companys, he cares about people who work for then, hence why he defended trion and then when most was fired he started to bash teh game, but he is not lieing, and that is the issue then most white knights have and start to name calling, he is not untrutfull on his words, so you guys attack the person not his arguments, with just give him more reason, and lets get real here, how many times they relaunched AA? how many times they had problems with logins and then merging with killed even more the servers?

    nothing with is happening is a surprise, only the white knights feel like a surprise, because they ignored the warnings, now there is nothing to do if not cry


    btw I told you so, only mistake I did was guessing they would break the game in 3 months, they took even less

    Great article, Red. I, too, have enjoyed taking my time with quests while leveling and have been having fun in AA:U for the most part. At least until I got to the end-game daily quest raids... and the new trade system. I agree that they ruined trade packs - I miss being able to run my merchant schooner, full of staged packs, to Sandeep... fraught with pvp encounters all the way. Good times. While Ascension levels and maxed out t4 gear sounds appealing, I'm already growing tired of the repetition & grind.

    Play the f2p extremely p2w version of the game, make sure not to make more then 2 accounts.

    Now remove the new player gift and everything in the cashshop that can be bought for money.

    You now have Archeage Unchained.

    Archeage and Archeage Unchained are the exact same game except for the p2w cashshop and archepass system (Extra daily quest)

    Evidence would be nice, otherwise it does seem that you're wrong.  I'm seeing some queues and I'm playing on one of the lighter-populated servers.   I'm seeing about as many people running around after I get in as I was at launch when I'd see similar queues.

    Anecdotally, that suggests populations are still relatively strong.   While I have seen more land coming available from taxes not being paid than I did this time after the first NA launch, it's not quite in the numbers as I would have expected.    Since you're the one making the affirmative statement, it's incumbent on you to provide supporting data.

    Do you have any, or are you just trash-talking?

    I enjoy the current iteration of the game and the servers are still very populated (NA anyways), those that are saying dead game or servers are not populated are just full of poo (DMKano just like to blow steam off when speaking about Archeage, he must have gotten his arse handed to him playing, sorry for your loss chief). Always high server capacity or queue. All the cities are very populated and players are everywhere in the game. Archeage in all it's failings is still a much better game than most on the market, why do you think people still continue to play it in large numbers. If you have played in the past or feel you have wanted to try it, it is an amazing experience for $26 (B2P)

    I've been enjoying it.  I think AA is one of the best Korean MMOs to hit Western markets.  The issues I had before were really just that the land was so limited compared to population and it was restricted behind a paywall.   So if you didn't pay, you were screwed economically.  I like the new model a lot better, and land seems to be in better supply in the newer versions.   Granted, pop is lower and that helps, too.

    Since it's P2P, I have no problem recommending it.   I've definitely gotten my money's worth out of it since launch and will probably be playing for a while.

    It's not "truth."  It's unsupported and subjective opinion.    That's not necessarily bad, because subjective opinions are still super valuable.  It's a really long way from "truth," though.    Dang kids these days seem to think anything they agree with is "true" and anything they don't is "fake news."  That's not how logic or truth work.

    Even if what he said was factual (which is the word you were actually looking for), without supporting data or evidence, it has little value.   So the best way to make gold is exploits...  Well, that's partly true, but it ignores the risk of being banned (permanently or otherwise).   There's hassle there that detracts from the value even if the ill-gotten goods aren't removed from your account anyway.  There are a lot of reasons that wouldn't be true, even if it were factually correct.   I'm not even sure it is without some corroborating evidence.

    At US prime time the US servers are all high, full, or queue. I play on the least populated server (jergant) because I got sick of 1000 person queues on Tyrenos. Game is fun. Hope it stays that way.

    There are ppl quitting the game. But I mean going from a server at capacity with a 4hr que at prime going to a server at capacity with a 1.5hr que at prime I would not call a dead game.

    You can absolutely do that. You don't have to run packs through disputed areas where you can get ganked. You don't have to run packs at all. You can very easily do what you described. It's probably one of the better games for this type of gameplay out at the moment, outdone only by Eve Online.

    My guess is he was a P2W no talent whale and flipped out when they took the P2W part out and expected him to pay $25 to restart on a level playing field.
