    So it is Ocean Spark that was scamming ReadyUp and not the other way around and then they went ahead and pulled that bulshit. Seems like a sure way to sink your own company.

    I think the vast majority of Kickstarted MMOs are turning into scams, whether or not they started out that way.

    I would have to agree, even the kick starter that is not game, a lot of them claim they have fail, or run out of money, If it's not a scam I don't know what to call it, but there are some who deliver their product, but to be on the safe side I generally don't support kick starter, I'm getting nothing from all kickstarter, there are no profit sharing scheme while I will be taking 100% of the risk.

    hmm problem you can't trust devs, and sure you never can trust artists, you also can't trust internet sooooo.

    unless someone start to sue someone I couldn't care less, course I have no money on this so

    So the developers of Oath are claiming Ocean Spark used purchasable assets from the Unreal store and resold them as their own work? Wow this is a crazy story. vs Honestly the grass textures do not look exactly the same, but that's just me. Maybe it's just the angles from the videos idk. Keep us in the loop on this one lol.

    The Oath gameplay vid is from April and Ocean Spark sent them the Grass Assets (the example ReadyUp used) in September.
    Even if it was just to re-add it to the game, it wouldn't show in an April video since Ocean Spark only started working with them in June. :)

    Checking this article here and there hoping for new developments but nothing as of yet.
    A bit weird though since they were both serious accusations from both sides.

    so Ocean Spark Studios made a small mistake that they could have changed if ReadyUp would have said something, instead ReadyUp went silent for a few days.

    I'm surprised that this site hasn't posted an updated news article on this yet.   The video above actually has a response from ready up and also has them taking legal action against that YouTuber.

    Quite the melodrama.  Though it looks like the kickstarter money is going to be spent on legal fees now (especially considering how little the KS earned).

    Oath devs tried to toss a DMCA Takedown at Cryy and got shot down.
