DAoC Endless Conquest F2P - worth it?

Today DAoC EC went live with some restrictions on f2p players. Does it worth it?

Considering how strict the F2P version is, I don't think it's worth it. What I mean is, the VERY limited class/race selection, they give you the opportunity to play as some of the most boring classes, and you are unable to pick the more interesting/mechanic rich classes. I don't think it's worth it.

Agreed, this is a really poor selection of classes.

I'm sticking with Phoenix, there isn't much excitement on live servers. They've nerfed and changed a lot and isn't the same DAoC it was 10 years ago. It just feels like a broken server with so many bugs not being fixed.

The population I've heard since EC come out has been very low but maybe it will pick up slowly. PvE on live isn't the same but RvR still pretty decent on there if you want to give it a go. :)
