    Began on the 3rd, this posted on the 5th, & it ends on the 10th. Good news to know for SWTOR players. I guess those internet pipes were a bit clogged for a timely delivery.

    At least there is a news piece on it... STO's Winter Wonderland also started on the 3rd, and still no mention about it - and there was coverage about the Phoenix pack change, so it ain't about not following certain games.
    Maybe seasonal events are not that important, who knows.

    ed: my bad, the news piece was about the "Pheonix" pack change, so it might be different :smiley:

    Started playing last week again didnt play since release , so far liking it alot game runs much better now with newer hardware .

    I agree it's the same ole recycled content. What's sad is that Bioware is retooling that failed project Anthem over a game like SWTOR. Where presumably the player base is not only bigger, but that their is a subscription fee along with in game mtx mechanics in it.

    @mcrippins, this is amazing game but a time killer...by design.

    Positives first,

    - The class stories are simply amazing and they can be done solo.
    - The planets and environment in this game is wonderful.
    - There is a lot of variety and lots of it (Ground, Space, Flashpoints, Operations, and PVP combat)

    Negatives...there are a lot of them.

    - Character creator just sucks, sucks, sucks
    - 4 people are needed to create a guild so you'll probably have to join someone else's and they basically will leverage your efforts in the game which I find utterly poor design. There are some parts of the game you cannot reach without a team.
    - The chat system is full of nothing but trolls....this game has attracted the worst type of people for some reason. Maybe they're just too young.
    - The design of this game just steals time from you. They have too many scenes where you have to travel across zones and this can be up to 5 minutes sometimes with cutscenes. I love cutscenes but if you trying to move faster this game has built in speed bumps to stop you from moving really fast. Just be aware of that.
    - The cartel market. Some value but mainly variants of old content/artifacts.

    My final opinion. Find 4 friends first then play this game so you can protect yourself and enjoy this game with your people but if you play this game...you need to be in full control or you will play this game for hours and hours and not see it's beauty completely
    I've been a player with various stages of subscription (F2P, Middle and Full) since the beginning. I have 3 accounts with 5-10 characters on each and will probably create a 4th account in 2020 so I can get my own private guild.
