Detroit: Become Human is one of the heaviest, darkest, most intense games I have ever played. Here's our review.

Holy crap this game tore me up, like hug my knees sobbing at 3am. And there are hours and hours of alt paths and endings, though I could only bring myself to play through a few, I can only see my favorite characters being broken so many times, I'm only human.

I was so glad to see it hit PC, so worth the wait. Graphics that blew my mind, characters/voicework/perfcap better than most movies. Can't recommend it enough.

On the David Cage of video game platforms, the Epic Games Store.

Almost, but not entirely. Both have the fair share of "haters", but nobody's dumb enough for being an Epic Store fanboi - while Cage unfotunately managed to build a loyal fanbase...

(beats me how, I think it was one of the brightest day when he left PC behind and fled to Sony and consoles with his shitty "quasi-movies", after almost killed the adventure genre through the crap he initiated in Fahrenheit. Sad to see now he's back...)

A little late on both the article and the game hitting pc.....Dunno why it took the devs pretty much a year and a half to decide to bring it to pc.

I NEED to see what we are talking about, then i know and can trust what i am hearing and watching.

So i watched some actual game play footage but only a short bit because right away i saw something i don't like.

Ok so some cop is escorting a female away but he let's her go to go into her plea towards the android.Ok so what ruins it for me right away...?

words flashing on screen FIND CAPTAIN whoever it was.IMMERSION breaking, why is there no story or lead up to this point,i mean we are bragging about the story but there is no story leading into this.I do not want to EVER see stuff in the game that is not plausibly realistic, like radars or words typed into the air FIND Captain....

If i was writing a script/story i would make sure to not ruin immersion in the first 20 seconds. Then what happens next....sigh...FIND OUT WHAT HAPPENED in giant words. So this tells me right away this design studio does NOT know what it is doing in delivering an immersive game. The GAMER is suppose to figure out what is going on,you don't type it in giant letters on the screen...geeesh.

Never forget 3 mile Island and never trust a government official or company spokesman.

So, it comes out in a year. Thanks for beta testing and optimizing it for us EGS suckers. Make sure to go on the games forums on the store and let us know how it’s improving and rate it. Oh wait.

Oh, I get it. You don't like EGS because it doesn't have forums. I guess you could just thumbs down it in the hopes no one buys it even though you haven't played it.

    Oh wait.

Looking forward to playing this. Good article. Perhaps I should wait for the Netflix series to come out before I buy it.

I'll grab it. I stayed away from Epic, only because I didn't like the third party stuff. But then I figured out it's easy to protect, and it is not like Zucker burg isn't in your contacts on phone.
Everything is cookies, tracking, etc. And no, your silly vpn to play video games don't make you a deep web anonymous user... Every company has you under their thumb. Heck, deep web users get raided these days too.
Epic is a great source for games. I got entire Batman franchise, including Arkham and Lego for free.

I use steam, gog, direct to drive, etc... When you diverse your shopping, get mega reductions or free games

It's... a movie more than a game, I don't know how many people like quick time event for your gameplay, if you do then this is your game, if not then stay away.

EGS is and always will be an instant no-buy for me. Great game though.

    In War - Victory.
    In Peace - Vigilance.
    In Death - Sacrifice.

Oh god, more EGS whining, just what we needed....

As for Detroit, this article made me realize I hadn’t bought it yet so I got the Deluxe edition (including the Heavy Rain remake) for 12.99 on the PS4 store in a sale. Or are consoles bad too?

'This does not apply just to ED but SC or any other game. What they will get is Rebirth/X4, likely prettier but equally underwhelming and pointless.

It is incredibly difficult to design some meaningfull leg content that would fit a space ship game - simply because it is not a leg game.

It is just huge resource waste....'

Have to agree on that, their engine is quite unreal :)
(Tech was great too, those early years -mid and late '90s- were a great era in fps... )

I really liked the demo but the camera controls really turned me off.

Just played the first hour or so and although Cage has the usual subtlety of a sledgehammer when delivering his vision and points its seems like a gorgeous and powerful piece of work nevertheless. Curious where the story, and my choices, will take me but I doubt it will be fun in the literal sense.
