Escape from Tarkov Devs Address Matching Issues, Share Future Plans
In a brace of updates, Battlestate Games addressed the ongoing matching issues in Escape from Tarkov, along with providing a glimpse into future developments.
Was sorta interested, until they said no female models...
So.... you're choosing not to play something that could potentially be a ton of fun for you based on something you can't even see in the first place? Your loss...

Lol.... I mean I would like female models too for the few times you do get to see your character on loading screens and what not but man. Not playing a game like this only because of that is some real nitpick.
I've had games I didn't play because of that reason before but they we're all mostly MMOs or ARPGs where you spend a lot of the time looking at your character. My main gripe is when MMOs genderlock the sword and shield class to a male.
But for EFT? I don't care dude, that's like not playing certain operators in Rainbow Six Siege just because they're dudes even if you like their gadget.
The gameplay is awesome and I'd play it if the name didn't start with the letter E.
I don't understand how the devs can be so utterly clueless and name their game like that.
I won't be touching this piece of garbage.
I love this game. Before I bought it a couple years ago, I was pretty against the idea of playing a beta that has persistent items / quests that would be wiped multiple times throughout, but honestly the gameplay loop is so good that I've put several hundred hours into it over multiple wipes. If you are even slightly into realistic shooters, with full loot, give it a shot or look up videos (as the 45 dollar entry fee is a lot for most people).
Definitely isn't perfect, and definitely has the issue a lot of Russian devs have that they hyperfocus on having a billion features and don't spend enough time fixing some of the issues, but it's really fun.
The 10-20 min avg per match is unforgiving and well they are adding to much micro managing annoying tasks like eating, drinking and healing after you died in raids its a game mechanic no one likes that needs to be removed asap.

The game is full of useless stuff. It seems that they're doing it this way just to say "I'm complex. I have a steep learning curve! WOW CHECK ME". Lots of useless mechanics just for the sake of "realism"? If you go to war, you'll be spending much less time in real life than doing what is called "realistic" in EFT.
EDIT: Typo

What is the damn difference? I don't understand this mentality. It's a freakin shooter. Just play it and enjoy it for what it is.

I mean if you were only "sorta," interested until something as arbitrary as character models became an issue, then you clearly weren't that into it.
Buhbye, cuck

> Complains about models you won't see more than half your playtime
