Remember Anthem? Well, its first anniversary has come and gone, and it seems BioWare are ending their Icetide event along with dropping some patch notes.

    I'm getting WildStar flashbacks with this game. I hope they make some drastic changes with this game to make it better, don't know about the current road they're on.

    TBH this might have been the idea all along, they said hold my beer to hello games and decided to do it one better by making the game absolutely terrible and trying to make it into something enjoyable (i didnt mind playing anthems story and i got a free key from nvidia from buying a gpu).
    lets hope they dont squander it and actually bring something to the table and not have the original anthem buyers/keyholders having to pay or it again!

    Community size is the important deciding factor here, and based strictly on that, I would say no. 

    The content on offer is worth the current asking price, but a multiplayer game without a community has little value.

    ITT: people who didn't play Anthem at all - or at least not during last 5 updates (starting from May, 2019). It's an excellent game now. Even those who claim "it's crap" most likely have at least 50+ hours played somehow.

    Well you gave games like day of dragons that charge 35-60 bucks and are in worse shape lol. As far as AAA titles go. As much as I love anthem it is fairly unfinished. The combat and flight is awesome but the main story is....that if a mobile game. Oh also bless online forgot about that one lol.

    The core gameplay is fun, but that's about all it's got going for it right now. Lackluster missions, small world, mediocre loot, etc. I don't regret the 200 or so hours I spent playing it, but it's going to need a major overhaul before I bother logging in again.

    Absolutely. Community matters in the game to do any of the post story content. If your looking to just do the story then you can more than likely handle that on your own with no help needed. Just expect a wait if you do anything beyond that. Game is fun but once your done with the story you will realize they forgot the game was going to continue past that.

    I can play this game for hours and consistantly get groups. Not sure what the hell you're on about.
