"Social media gives legions of idiots the right to speak when they once only spoke at a bar after a glass of wine, without harming the community ... but now they have the same right to speak as a Nobel Prize winner. It's the invasion of the idiots”

The base game is pretty much broken without spending around $200+ to get five T3 pets, 6-7 storage maids, weight increase for your character, tent for remote villa buffs and repairs when grinding remote spots, value packs etc....
If you want to make mad money via gathering (boring as hell btw...) you can get 4 hedgehog pets now 50% off - hedgehogs at Tier 4 have 50% to double the gathered materials so its pretty OP
Example you can gather 10k meats per hour with t4 hedgehog (master level butcher) which is 85mil silver... but its boring as hell doing this. The other rare mata you find can push it near 200mil if you can sell them
I spent around 260 all together and I’ve been playing for four years. Still cheaper than playing wow. You also need a lot more than a t4 hedgehog to get 10k meat. I have over 1k mastery with a t3 hedgehog and get around 9k an hour. They also nerfed the infinite energy by getting rid of the wine. So you have to use multiple characters and energy pots to do more than an hour.
I bought it when it launched. I had high hopes for a great new sandbox mmorpg. Logged in, felt nauseated immediately by the spirit guide, was led from one ultra fast spawning mob to another for 10 minutes and shut it off.

Pure joke.
or just don't follow the spirit guide and do your own thing.
There are very few things that require the spirit guide.

From time to time I play it, I really like the samuria. But I know I can never catch up or compete without spending alot of money so I never stick long.
I have still only bought the base game and a value pack a couple of times and I'm able to still have plenty of fun in the game. Currently playing it again and haven't really had the urge to buy anything. I have 5 pets but got them all through auctions / events.

Never spent a single penny in the game. If you can dedicate more than an hour per day and are willing to afk fishing, you can own absolutely everything the game has to offer.
The only reason I am not playing it is because of gameplay issues. The cash shop is not necessary unless you are a casual gamer.

I guess this means I will never fully understand the purpose of a T4 Hedgehog.
