" Primary skills and skill slots can have their keys rebound if you wish. "
Really pumping out the features. Once they address runewords, trading, build diversity, having only 2 stats in an RPG, and the endgame being solely M+, then it'll be newsworthy.
D2, IMO, is one of the best games ever made. It was simple. You bought the game, installed the game, and played the game. There was no real-money auction house etc. From the dev's point of view, anything special within the game had to be earned.
These days, it's all about corporate greed and endless cross-promotion. Will you honestly be shocked to find out that you get an extra +15% to Magic Find if you're an Amazon/Twitch Prime subscriber? I'm almost certain that this game will be polluted with such sass.
Ugh. I'm honestly not trying to be a "boomer", but I really pity players who never got to experience gaming in the old days. I'm not saying the games were better, but the way they were managed was generally more honest and realistic. No cash shops etc.
Man they will ha e to knock this one out of the ballpark to win player trust back.
Can they pull it off?
I remain highly skeptical
you really belive they can do anything right? failure after failure tells us they can't, you guys can drop following this thing, look over for path of exile that is mroe likely to make something

The only fate I have in D4 is because of Game Director, Luis Barriga, which has been with Blizzard for the last 15 years and his work with D3 Reaper of Souls.
So, while usually I don't kinda trust Blizzard this days in delivering good games or x-pacs, I .. think based on the above, they can deliver a solid D4 game.
Reporter: What's behind Blizzard success, and how do you make your gamers happy? Blizzard Boss: Making gamers happy is not my concern, making money.. yes!

Blizzard is hardly a failing company. Far from it. Path of exile is also EXTREMELY boring. 10 completely horrible and boring acts you have to replay every three months just to get to an even more boring and stale end game. No thanks.

I say path of exile is better then diablo 3 and the expected from d4, and I don't like path of exile.
but it was this game who was close to D2 so....
and again blizzard is tossing crap over and over for years now, if you belive otherwise oyou are the minority, if not just a fan boy

Couldn't agree more with this sentiment. Come at us with some actual stuff that will make the game fun and enjoyable, not "oh look at our new UI".....
I would almost rather play Diablo 2 over Diablo 3... actually, not almost... I would rather play D2. Unless Diablo 4 is going to be a modernized Diablo 2, I don't think I'll be very interested.
Then again, they could blow it out of the part and make a whole new amazing RPG.

You mean like Diablo 3?
Yeah, everyone called that game a massive failure. I mean, it only sold like 40 million copies.
I wish I could be as much a "failure" as Blizzard.
All they have to do is get the itemization right, you think people are playing Diablo 2, 20 years later, because it has pretty graphics? No, it's all about the items. It's the key to any successful aRPG, get the items right and the rest falls into place. But judging by the god awful itemization in D3, I have zero faith they will achieve proper itemization.
Now that Wolcen has reignited my ARPG glands I am revved and ready to try out any new ARPG. I even dusted off the old ones in my Steam library so really looking forward to a Diablo 4. I am also playing D3 now, my demon hunter in her sexy heels.
if you think people won't buy diablo 4 because of how poor warcraft 3 reforged was you know shit about crowds. the month before release hype will be through the roof and it will sell a crazy amount of copies just like diablo 3.
Iselin: And the next person who says "but it's a business, they need to make money" can just go fuck yourself.
