any games like this exist?

in The Pub at MMORPG.COM
iam looking for a game like crusader king where we have control of territory and we fight another territory for plundering looting and sacking but its on MMO style  something and with more gameplay focused instead of just text based war like in crusader kings

    The only real MMORPGs with territory conquests are FFA PVP games like Crowfall.

    I don’t think there is any PvE MMO that fits your description.
    Chronicles of Elyria maybe, but that’s pretty much vaporware at this point.

    You are correct, but it’s the only one that will ever be released and sooner rather than later.

    There is Darkfall still going on if are that masochist.

    6 months ago and you expected a change in 6 months? Really, game development is far longer than that. Try taking off for a couple of years. The first and second thread I linked were one month apart. Not much time for any development.

    You would be better served joining a steam group for specific type of games where they discuss games in development. While our stable of posters are quite knowledgeable and brilliant a gathering of like minded individuals will have far more resources.

    By the way I forgot about Albion Online and Legends of Aria.

    thanks i will look into albion but legend of aria is not best bet? lol i like its graphics 
    though  and see Kitarad this proved your wrong see our members coming with new suggestion

    Albion Online was already suggested to you in this thread you created which I linked earlier and a discussion took place about Archeage and Albion in the same thread. I remembered it which was why I was a little surprised.

    I'd say unless you are quite forgetful these games were already within your radius of consideration and are not new suggestions.

    Like I said it is too soon and I honestly am trying to be helpful with the steam group suggestion.

    i just meant that they recently improved albion open world pvp and territory war with update

    and alright whats steam group is that i will check?

    Eve online is a giant strategy simulator for the .1% of players who lead organizations.

    I haven't tried it yet, but Kingdom Under Fire 2 looks interesting and has MMO elements.

    Crowfall is the spiritual successor to Shadowbane, the territory conquest MMO.

    Warhammer Online Return of Reckoning is all about fighting for control of territory.

    Warhammer Total War 1/2 has head to head campaigns and focuses much more on visual battles than Crusader Kings, but has a less complex campaign.

    Albion has more active players.
    I think Aria is pretty much dead, just check it yourself, it’s F2P.

    @Wajib i check that game you said but one problem is whenever i think of territory war , it always comes to my mind of plundering , sacking and conquering enemy settlement, the better territory war 

    like in medieval times but the game you said has nothing like that , when you capture territory they only offer bonus points lol we cannot sack or plunder .

    We regularly have gamers on this site asking is there a MMO that has "Insert gameplay here"? But we can rarely offer more than an idea or two, that is an indicator of how built from one WoW template the MMO genre now is.

    Too bad Jake Song's MMO based on the Civilzation RTS games got cancelled. That one looked promising and it would have been just what you're asking for.

    Also illustrates how few new MMOs are released these days and how slowly the indie games in development are progressing.

    But no worries, the MMORPG genre is doing just "great", I read it on the internet so it has to be true, right?

    Go to google.  Search similar games to crusader kings.

    If you don't mind playing on your phone type in google, similar games to crusader kings on android or ios.

    Personally the only modern MMORPG trend that annoys me is the idea that MMOs need to be designed in a way to attract people who don't actually like MMOs. Which to me makes about as much sense as someone trying to figure out a way to get vegetarians to eat at their steakhouse.

    I will give you a few groups and you can also get more by searching a game on steam then going on the right side of the store page to "find community groups". In these groups there are like minded individuals who you can chat with in the chatroom. They will be able to help you. I myself am uninterested in what you are looking for but I am showing you how to use the steam groups to your advantage.
