    Let's be real here, what's in store for people with Star Citizen is what has been provided thus far, big promises, many of which won't be kept, no formal game release, but lots of stuff for people to spend money on.

    Since they are shutdown because of Covid-19, it is obvious this is a way just to keep in the minds of people.

    They aren't shutdown like most companies that work on computers they are working from home. Geeze the stretching by both the white Knights and the haters is absurd. I mean you guys must be like stretch Armstrong or something to not have snapped with these absurdities.

    SQ42 Beta is "supposed" to start Q3 of this year.  My feeling is it wont due to standard issues that pop up in all game dev, and CoVid 19 issues stacked on top.  I would say beta Q4 or Q1 2021 though I would really like to see Q3 this year.


    Still looking forward to both games just tired of both sides unrealistic outlooks.

    By definition, what is in store are not promises but delivered promises. You are right, they did not delviered what they said in 2013.. They are delivering 2 Triple-A and features no others Triple-A have, despite SC being in Alpha. A true tragedy. Give us more Fallout 76 and Anthem please! :)

    No Beta is planned end of Q3 so far so release won't happen in 2020.

    Have they actually released either of those two games? No they have not, as such what I said is still very much factually true. Meanwhile what you said is the typical sugar coated nonsense defenders have been spreading around like so much manure for years now.

    Everybody know those games are in heavy devolpment, released in Alpha for one and with a Beta in sight in 2020 for the sothers.

    It is just to counterweight the non sense of haters wording and their vaporware, scam or ponzi which have zero meaning in this project context. Saying "they are delivering" is definitively more mature and closer from reality than using "manure for year" :)

    You're defending a company that for almost a decade now has been actively selling things for games that have had stated release dates come and go several times, with no reason to believe they will come out at any point in the next year, or two. In the time they have been working on this project, other games by clearly more competent companies have started, completed, and released their games, without doing any of the BS money grubbing crap CIG has been doing.



    The idea that there is anyone willing to support, and defend that company at this point astounds me about as much as the fact there are those that still support, and defend Donald Trump. If you can't see the truth in what I'm saying, then you're completely beyond hope, and I'm wasting my time in even trying to talk to you.

    Let's hope we get more games which actually release,  and then put out expansions, like FO76 perhaps?

    Been playing exclusively and non stop since last September,  and it's an actual game...with progression and everything even....

    Wastelanders launches today, can SC say the same?  Not anytime soon, that's for sure.

    Insightful?  C'mon, we  >:) s have been saying that all year, I'll go so far as to predict it won't launch in 2021 either, will still be on beta 2.014 or something at years end.

    Why launch ever? With games that are financed the usual way you spend your own or borrowed money and then get your ROI after launch. They don't have that "problem" here. It's just like gravy on gravy.
