How was anyone confused by this? Are y'all really that desperate to find a reason to hate on the game?

The game didn't need even more methods of monetization. It already had a cash shop, an optional subscription, and a box price.

Next month, we'll hear that Todd Howard has opened up an Only Fans account.

I’ve said it before, soon they’ll start charging for the launcher so you can get “the full experience.”

'This does not apply just to ED but SC or any other game. What they will get is Rebirth/X4, likely prettier but equally underwhelming and pointless.

It is incredibly difficult to design some meaningfull leg content that would fit a space ship game - simply because it is not a leg game.

It is just huge resource waste....'

Hahah. This made me chuckle. It's like Richard Garriot selling vials of his blood to fund Shroud of the Avatar.

I bought FO76 like a month ago and I have 198 hours on it according to Steam. I'm absolutely loving the game.

C'mon,  its Bethesda we're talking about here, who never met a monetization model they didn't like.

Not unreasonable to believe they let this "confusion" linger for a spell to see what the potential reaction might be to the idea of only the first season being for free.
