Would seriously like to know that. Not that I want to go back to Archeage ... I had my time ... but that's one of the games, where I serioulsy don't understand how the game can survive and keep up with developing new content.
Even KR has/had a very low population some years ago.
The ran in, took the money, and ran away. Counted it, realized it wasn't enough, so they ran back in.
The sad part is, people will give them more money.

Love to see a pve version of this game fish on the sea no attacks running merchant ship no attacks speed boat with player skiing on the back.(hell yaah)
Really? From all the people you came here to say that? This company lives from promotions nothing else and you helped aau to get some promotion on youtube (paid or not paid who cares).
You never said game sucks, game is bad, you just defended them and kept saying "they need to fix this", i mean really? They need to change 90% of things including mod behaviour on discord, CM who is laughing when so many people are dissapointed, servers, grind fest, bugs, exploits etc etc etc
You could start saying these things from day 1, but then you wouldnt get opportunity to stay in contact with that director... and now after months and months you say "The ran in, took the money, and ran away." You could see where game/gamigo is going with all that in less then 2 weeks but you continue uploading videos like everything is great except "some" things.
All i want to say is: Speak the truth nothing else.
The major issue is the game in my opinion is not the payment model, the incompetent publishers, or the bugs. But the game itself. Archeage got its draw because it was a sandbox style mmo with some themepark elements. You could progress how you wanted, do what you wanted to make money, you could be a PvPer, PvEer, you could be someone who just played the economy and farmed if you liked that.
That game mentioned above is dead, it dead with Hiram. The sandbox style game that we all liked is now a subpar/mediocre at best Themepark game with a few sandbox elements left mainly housing. The economy was removed, you have to do dailies every day for hiram (only viable progression path), dungeon are trash tier except 1 boss rush. Guilds are negated completely. Trade has been gutted. Open world has been replaced by isntances on most content. They actually removed old content from the game.... because it was not working right in newer patches instead of fixing it. Auroria was completely gutted and replaced with the joke that is faction castle. Aka they took a trully great game, arguably one of the best ones out there and removed everything that was good about it to try to make it more appealing to casuals and make it work with the lower population which was caused by horrific p2w killing the whole population.
And all they did was Port the garbage p2w version over to AAU with 0!!! changes. And they wonder why it failed horribly.
Both XL and Gamigo should go bankrupt they are both trash companies. Anyone wanting to play Archeage should not play it on the official servers.
So you do realize everything you just said, is exactly what I did.
Let me catch you up on some stuff.
Picture it, April 2018, the launch of 4.5 Archeage Fresh State, and there I am pulling in 300 viewers on Twitch, talking about all the things coming in Fresh Start, finding errors in their build, talking to The Blue Muzzy in Discord about what we are finding, and then less than 24 hours before the launch, finding out we aren't actually testing the build we are going to launch on. Finding out the build has serious flaws. Pointing out we found P2W in the 4.5 build, I did the best I could to try to call them out. It got carried by Massively so you can check yourself https://massivelyop.com/2018/04/05/archeage-players-fear-pay-to-win-practices-will-infect-new-progression-server/
When it all went to shit, I stopped making Archeage Content. I had said on a Stream I would not make Archeage content again until Trion no longer owned the distribution rights. Then several months later, Trion sold their Assets off to Gamigo, and since Trion was no longer the publisher, I went back.
When the decided to do Archeage Unchained, Khrolan and I spoke. A major problem I had was that it was the bullshit Trion team with the bullshit history they had. He gave me his assurances things were going to be different. So of course as an Archeage Content Creator I went back to the game I enjoy, and that I've seen success at as a content creator.
I started making videos, building the website, and streaming. I took all the communities concerns and tweeted to Khrolan directly (https://twitter.com/Paradox_GameNet/status/1174440064459378689) and given the history and reputation I have as a content creator for asking the important questions that represent what the community want, they spend almost an entire livestream answering these questions.
Now, before you say "I didn't say it on day 1" I very much did warn people what to expect. There is a video clip of me comparing Archeage and an Abusive relationship, and saying three months we we know we are going to get boned. We know it, but the game is that damn good.
Guess what? When they fucking derped launch, I was highly critical of their bullshit. There are a number of videos on my YouTube, including one I literally called "What the eff Gamigo"
So yes, I did help them get AAU promotion. Are you saying I shouldn't have promoted a game that I thought at the time, using all the resources I had, might be a good version of Archeage, while at the same time continuously showing the "archeage advertisement" clip I had made?
When I was promoting it, it looked like it was going to be a fresh brand new Archeage. The very moment it stopped looking good and turned into a ball of shit, I called it out for being a ball of shit.
Now, if you want to back through my YouTube and go video by video, review by review, feel free. It will be blatantly clear when the started fucking up, because I started point it out.
I'm not really sure what else you could expect from a content creator that has no inside information.

Just remember players: it's your own fault because you didn't spend enough... that'll teach you.

Unfortunately, Gamigo is calling this update and 'expansion.'
not everyone, we told you so they would fuck with you guys later, you choose to ignore, now I just see the things happen way we told AGAIN
this time just learn from it, that is all I ask, stop beliving in promises and check history
so in the end more fools will fall for it, if the only problem was gamigo, with is not
not to mention, diving for treasure, fishing was amazing and even composing your own music for your toon to play.
AA could have been the game played for years but greed ruined it. Let's hope they learn a lesson.
