I'm sure the million people grindingly digging for artifacts in Artaeum have helped the lag issues in Western Skyrim...what a shit-show of an expansion.

The only thing funnier than all the problems with this patch is the people losing their shit over it:

Ya that's a bit much. You do have to wonder if they are capable of getting these things fixed and how many people they have chased away.

that guy sure is angry, but he does have a point, far too often is content shipped out too early and just causes problems for players,i recently returned to eso and was amazed at the amount of money it makes just from the store/loot crates,to be fair it is a very good mmo,but this greed has to stop.

I asked my magic 8ball and it said there is a high probability the devs are just gonna make the issues worse ;)

I played the game for 5 years straight from launch to last year so none of this shit is new to me. I saw performance get worse year after year. The best performance in Cyrodiil were the first couple of years and it has gotten progressively worse from that point. And I only mention Cyrodiil because that's kind of the canary for ESO performance and you notice  how bad it is there first but even the PvE zones feel it when the pop density is high enough.

And that's on top of their patching process and launcher both being far below industry standards.

OTOH neither Bethesda nor ZOS have ever been known for robust back-ends and bug free games so you need to be a noob to Bethesda/ZOS and to gaming to even think thoughts like "No game ever has done this!" lol.

Patch week has been a shit show in ESO since 2014. Why would it be any different now?

How do you know how much money the store makes? Not like they publish the numbers. Second, no one forces you to buy anything in the store. I have over 40,000 crowns and only purchased a merchant and a banker.

I am in the same boat you are in i have something like 33,000 crowns the only things I have ever bought were the lake house in Morrowind the house on the psijics island the banker and the merchant and a few xp scrolls on my way to 160. Now they give those out like candy so I dont even buy them.
Staying on topic I do not remember the morrowind launch being likr this that was the only expansion i played right at launch.
