He is not affiliated with the game, he just took part in a forum event on the game's official forums where random people who advertise the game have a chance to win a key:

    https://forum.fracturedmmo.com/topic/8559/spread-the-word-win-an-alpha-key/221?_=1592155248491&lang=en-US

The thing he doesn't know is I and many others have tested the game and the game is pretty lackluster and boring. There is an empty world with no quests or anything, just PvP and crafting and that's pretty much the whole game. There are many such wannabe MMOs like this which have no content or substance, because the developers discovered the hard way that building an MMORPG is not as easy as it was in their daydreaming.

Most of Fractured is purchased assets from the Unity store starting from the UI:

That "game" is pretty depressing just to think about. But I agree, having people advertise the game for you in hopes to get a key is pretty desperate.

I don't think it is ever a case of the dev realizing how difficult it is to make a game. What i have noticed a lot is someone has one gimmick and just quickly builds a game around that gimmick.Typically these gimmicks are not even their own but taken from movies,TV and other games.

On the subject of "empty world" and content,i look at it from a different perspective since i began enjoying a similar game like Atlas. Now Atlas does have more to do than Oasis but still it is sort of similar.

So i ask myself WHAT are devs providing us with in form of "content"quests?Honestly NOT very much, typically they tie some fetch me quest to the mobs they already have in the game.In reality,a very lazy effort on content making.I find quests to usually be so pointless and shallow,i don't even consider them as content anymore.

So if a game were to eliminate that boring, half baked idea known as quests, would it really be all that bad? However you do need enough to keep gamer's occupied, give them a reason to login.Well within Atlas i have plkenty to do from building structures, ships, sailing and taking on pirate ships, gathering flotsam/bottles to hunt for treasure. Then i have the whole pet design which in Atlas is the best around, pets can be ridden, used for harvesting as well very powerful in combat and i can breed them.

My point is that we shouldn't be so critical of a game just because it doesn't have those BORING pointless quests, as long as the game has enough to keep you occupied and have some fun, that is all that matters.Unfortunately, this game does not go far enough.

Never forget 3 mile Island and never trust a government official or company spokesman.

Ouch... those pics make it pretty obvious. Then again, nothing wrong with using existing assets if it leaves mroe time for actual game development.

+1 , swg had zero to just a few quests and donjon like that could be counted on the fingers of one hand, and despite this lack of content we were 300k enjoying crafting and faction pvp.
I've never been bored (as i'm still not on the emu)...
