CCP Games in conjunction with Massively Multiplayer Online Science (MMOS) have announced the third phase of their Project Discovery initiative, which will have players engage in a mini-game within EVE Online to help scientists fight COVID-19.

    Maybe someone will run off with $60,000 worth of COVID's stuff, and COVID will rage quit and end the pandemic.

    Tough to separate this from politics in today's America.

    But awesome to see this.  Borderlands 3 contains a similar sort of scientific effort, iirc.

    I'm proud of the way my fellow citizens and I have handled the pandemic so far. We've kept politics completely out of it.
