    Well, expect now all sort of anime and kawaii crap going to Smite in the near future.

    It's not like this is even the worst thing.

    Like, they hit rock bottom early on with rapper Vamana. Nothing will ever make me cringe harder than that.

    Depicting real world gods and how their mythical powers translate into a game is really the only interesting thing about Smite. I'm not their target audience though, so I guess I can't complain too much.

    Started replaying Smite recently and still enjoy it, despite the toxic people. They already have RWBY characters, not to mention the litany of ridiculous skins that aren't tied to another IP. So, why not.

    This is bad *ss. I hope they move on to licensing Marvel and DC characters next. There are already other moba games that have Batman and a few mobile gacha games with Marvel licensed characters. Keeping SMITE alive may require licensing from other IP cause only mythological characters after 10 years imo has run its course.
