There are several default shapes to use and these can all be scaled in size. There are several additional tools to quickly make other shapes, like the line tool to create angles and the smoothing tool to round off any rough edges. Portions of voxels can be embedded inside other blocks and, with the addition of prefabricated elements, anyone with a bit of artistic vision (not me, a Borg cube would be my masterpiece) could put together a visually stunning building or spaceship.
Game will be full of fleets and cities of penis shaped spaceships and buildings.....I would say "calling it now" if it were not so obvious.

Voxels? I'm out
I know voxels aren't for everyone but this is the best implementation I have seen. In the right hands the toolset they have provided can be used to great effect when building ship's and buildings. As for ground deformation it is pretty much like No Man's Sky.
It's kind of a mess right now. Mass amounts of crashing. Honestly I kind of fear that we will see worse and worse lag due to never being able to get good optimization as more and more people get in and start building stuff. If anyone remembers SWG Dantooine on any server leaving Pirate outpost and being hit by mass lag due to all the buildings and harvesters, NPC that's what it will be like, but worse.
I do like the skills training, a lot like EVE, but building and creating is the only fun thing so far. I can't imagine trying to PvP in this game at the moment, and PvP will be the only combat available.
I dont see open beta anywhere I see pay a subscription to play beta, pretty glaring difference there unless its hidden somewhere else other than behind the Join Beta button.

It's a good point.
Looking up what exactly an "open beta" means it still can be considered an "open beta." However, it does require you financially support the studio.
Closed beta is by invitation to a small group of people. Open beta is for a larger group of people/people who are interested.
So if a large group of people are interested in paying in order to support the studio and get into the beta they can.
There is no "limit" as far as who the group is or how large it is.

Open test does not mean free.
It only means the access is open for everyone contrary to closed test where access is restricted to selected group or individuals.

I disagree, historically open beta meant free. To play before release with a fee would be considered early access.

That might be what video game companies did but that's not what it means.

BTW that mining glitch is present in certain simulation tubes, if one simulation tube is bad, try a different one. That's what I did and got it finished.

Open beta has always meant open to everyone. Slapping a subscription fee onto it closes it off for those that cant afford it.
If you have to pay to access an open beta, it's not OPEN. Period... Both historically in the video game industry and logically. "Open" in this sense means unconditional (i.e. free, available to everyone, without restriction, etc.). If you have to pay to access a beta, that is very much conditional, not free, not available to everyone, and with restriction.
Any time a payment has been necessary to participate in an open beta has been to get access to said beta earlier than others with a future date set where anyone and everyone can participate (basically what the Avengers game just did: pre-order to play the beta early with open beta for everyone on XX date)
The term open beta is from a time where developers had the honor to not charge people for testing their game.
And this is why for me open and closed is only determined by the amount of people who can participate.
Closed = Only open for a selected amount of users.
Open = Open for everyone who wants to join as soon as he fulfills the participation requirements (Account, connection, Hardware needed (e.g. VR), User activated (which might imply a subscription))

I dont mind bugs or unfinished state. I just want to play a Universe-Simulation where everything is as close as possible to reality. (most sandbox).
The size of the universe is secondary, the sandbox features are more important.
What should I concentrate on?
- Dual Universe
- Star Citizen
- Elite Dangerous
- Empyrion

No where has it ever meant free. You are, like me at first, confusing this game to be F2P. Don't confuse a "F2P" vocabulary with "open beta", OB is a development status, F2P is a businessman model.

I'd recommend either EVE Online or X4: Foundations, they do what you want much better than any game on your list.

There are two ways to use term "open beta":
One means that devs give free access to the beta. Second means that devs open the beta up for general public, as opposed to closed beta that was only for more limited audience.
Dual Universe was already open to anyone who pays in their closed beta stage so their open beta does not mean that. It's also not a free beta phase. In Dual Universe's case the open beta should be taken to mean beta without NDA, as opposed to earlier phases that had NDA.

Open test and Free just aren't mutually exclusive - open test can be free but it does not imply it must be free, they are independent of each other.

When you say a store is open, it don't mean everything in it is free lol.
