    I have hopes here for a EQ3 (2.5?), something worthy amongst the crap that passes for MMO's these days, but d@mn, still on pre-alpha... I am becoming very concerned at how sloooow this is going. I of course don't want junk rushed out-the-door, seen faaar too much of that over the years, but... at this rate we'll be playing fully immersive VR before this sees a beta.

    They did, but have often hedged their bets by telling their fans how vital their financial support was.

    Just last fall they mentioned the backers pledges were keeping the doors open and the lights on or something to that effect.

    Just a couple more decades and this game just might see the light of day. It would really behoove them to release something... Remember EQ was pretty bare bones before Kunark.
