Why is there a Mortal 2 when Mortal 1 plays like a game that came out in 1998? Zero faith in their development.

The first one had problems with PvP - gankers, griefers, toxic players and trolls. Some people that claim to have played the game a lot complain that there were PKers that were secretly endorsed by the developers, because they spent a lot of money on the game and the developers intentionally ignored them and refused to take action against them, because they were their most valued customers.

I don't know if it's true or not, but I'm not interested in another PvP-oriented MMORPG with full (or partial) loot. I doubt the game will be successful either way.

I would not give this project one penny until they have a finished product, with that said i will try it out when it's done.

These guys are a lot older (and hopefully wiser) now than they were when MO1 started development. I'm sure they've learned a lot. I'm interested in how this goes. Who knows? I love a good underdog story.

They've barely learned a thing. If anything, they've arguably regressed in some areas

I'm Testing MO2 atm.. It's super fun to organize, move units of real men and women. Not only do we get a lot of testing with optimization done, we also are HAVING FUN! Yes I said it!! You are missing out!! on a great quality UE4 ran game that happens to be testing with ---> Nvidia <--- One thing I can't stand is back seat critics.. I recommend Buy the game. It would be foolish to do otherwise and consider those above outdated commentary to hurt feelings of those singing the boos. Great game! Congrats Henrik (Game CEO)on the last Patch! Which by the way MMORPG COMMUNITY they patch frequently. I invite you to test the alpha and or better yet join a great GLOBAL community. Come test the Alpha https://www.mortalonline2.com/

I have an opinion on this game...person that runs the operation.

This is I "assume" still the same person the SON of a rich guy who apparently had access to a fair bit of money.I also got the feeling this dude at the time still fairly young was seriously into gaming but just didn't have the know how.

So my opinion is he SHOULD have just hired a sub contractor to build the game he wanted, less overhead, less problems and the game gets done decently or you don't pay or pay less to the sub contractor,to me it is a no brainer.

IDK what route this dude took this time around IF still the same person and IDK who he has hired and it all matters a LOT.There are just way too many questions to be asked to be even remotely interested because the prior game albeit mildly ok was not  good enough,so I need to see a big step up in game design.

If I get the right answers then sure I'll keep an eye on the game, why not.

Oh yes and just like I commented in another thread on another game,i NEED to see a video, talking about something does ZERO for me.

If were talking about MUDS then sure talk is all i need but we are talking about VIDEO gaming,EYES matter.

I wonder how many people there are in the niche that this game aims to fill (meaning a full PvP game with looting). Eve and Albion are both popular and rise of Agon has a small but dedicated base for those who want to play a more arcadey pvp mmo. BDO isn't full loot but it's also action related l, has detailed crafting and is popular.

I like PvP and PvE games and keep one of each on my machine actively subbed (WoW and Eve for the time being). I would like MO to succeed but I don't see from where it's going to draw it's players.
