Outer Empires is an iOS/Browser 2d space based full sandbox MMO. Full player run economy, research, manufacture, mining. Think a cut down version of Eve in your pocket. It doesn't have the complexity of Eve but has the full metagame of factions, politics, war, spying, piracy and territorial control.

It's free next weekend so why not download it to you iOS device or check it out on browser.

    Yup, this game is neat IMO. Intend to get further on in this game and post a review at a later date. One of the few app games I intend to be playing for a few years, I've so far found is my reasoning for recommending. Of you can get your head around the downsides of 2D graphics an basic interface and slow sandbox gameplay, you'll find a sophisticated game underneath. Requires iOS v.4+
