This was a game I saw on steam that really got my attention. I am not one for early access for the most part and this has caused to me to hold off on Bladurs Gate 3 and this game. SInce I have other games keeping me busy, its not a big deal now, but I know in the back of my mind, I can hear them call to me. Lastly, thanks for the coverage on this game as I think its a potential diamond in the rough, especially if you are a D &D fan.

My beady eyes sees yet another cheap ass isometric game.I am not interested in buying or playing BG2 from 20+ years ago,i am interested in serious games, serious studios that push the envelope on game design.
I mean I was immediately skeptical of this game when she said "on my first play through"giving me the indication of no longevity and very little to do.
As to being a D&D fan, well to me those fanbois notations are a thing of the past,i simply look at it for what it is a bunch of math formula that is in EVERY game no matter what name is attached to it.
There is really nothing a D&D idea puts into a game that separates it from any game because even the dice roll is just random numbers which again is just math and i am not about to give D&D credit for varied rng numbers in math equations.

The idea of D&D was to CREATE ideas out of thin air,to IMAGINE ideas because there was no video gaming back then,no animated graphic artists and such. The same sort of idea was realized in MUDS,again because of a LACK of ability to do it any other way.

We are VERY long removed from that era, everything is visual now and computer coding, nothing is just imagined other than you might wonder what lies around the corner of that next mountain pass.

I tried the demo that Steam had a couple of months ago.  It was pretty good, but very limited at the time.  I've never been an "it's good because it's D&D" guy, this is something I have on my wishlist in spite of it being D&D.

Played through the entire first chapter. There is a lot to like about the early access version of the game. It is definitely improved over the demo. There still are some things that need improving. There's a pretty good video play through that talks to all of the good points and some of the things that could be improved, RNG, defined lit areas, etc... on Youtube at
