    I didnt feel like signing in to the poll when I am already signed in to the website, esp for just 1 answer and a runner up.
    Best rpg Ghost of Tsushima with Assassins Creed Valhalla being a runner up and CP2077 release in 2 days which puts it in 2020 so it could top my GoT spot dont know yet.

    Fall Guys is the best for it's hilarious fun. It's also the most disappointing since Lee Majors wasn't involved.

    Write ins in almost all the categories.  Star Trek online as most improved?  Geezus it must have been a really bad year as the only category that game should be in is worst game experience.  The mmo genre and lack of decent voting options speaks for itself in the genre.  A sad state of affairs overall imo.

    Yeah it kinda sucks, but there is a ton of people playing it for the events.

    Release dates for the Best MMORPG of 2020 nominees: 2014, 2x 2012, 2010 and 2004. With the other game mentioned being released in 2014. It doesn't paint a great picture on the state of the genre.

    Biggest Disappointment: New World

    Battle Royale: N/A, I don't play them

    Most Anticipated: Camelot Unchained

    Best Persistent World: Elite: Dangerous

    Best RPG: Valhalla (i mean, its not an RPG so shouldn't have been in the category, but i hate the way most RPGs are designed these days so voted for valhalla anyway)

    Most Improved MMO: Warhammer - Return of Reckoning

    Best MMO: FFXIV (but, this is best of a bad bunch, none of them have been worth my time for years so this vote is mostly based on news articles and player recommendations rather than first hand xp)



    Some very weird choices from the mmorpg team in these awards. a lot of non-mmos in mmo categories, a lot of non-persistent worlds in the persistent worlds category. lots of the big mmos missing from the best mmo category. So, found it quite hard to vote.

    I do think WAR: RoR deserves most improved, the team on that server seem to be doing more with that game than many of the professional teams that are actually being paid. I am also still genuinely excited about CU.

    But, for the rest of the categories? Meh, just didn't feel strongly about any of them, the industry is not providing games to my taste.

    Well, since I haven't played most of the game's on the list, or not in many years for sure I can't really vote on much of anything.

    @lotrlore if you want to know why your readers grow more and more disconnected from your site look no further than the RPG category.

    Spider-Man? All those others?

    I mean... if you can’t instantly rattle off enough actual pc RPGs to fill the list then you have a serious problem. Many were listed by prior posters and there are many more. One thing PC doesn’t lack are RPGs... but you give us none to pick from.

    Shame.

Am I missing something, you level your character, you upgrade items, you have an awesome story an awesome combat system, you have a living world that feels very much alive, you clear an area your allies move in and bring it back to life for your side. Just curious is rpg just long complicated skill and crafting options?

    This site had been taken over by the console kids but perhaps the new owners can shake things up a bit to get some staff who actually play games on a PC.

    true it is a ps4 exsclusive, which sucks as I would rather play it on pc and pc players should be able to experience it too w/o need to buy a console.

    still though ,Assassins Creed Valhalla is a pc rpg as well.

    Sorry...  compared to games like this https://store.steampowered.com/app/1096530/Solasta_Crown_of_the_Magister/ I have to laugh at Assassins Creed as RPG of the year... and I never even played Solastra.  Can go find plenty more without even trying.

    The PC depth of RPG games is amazing and for @Lotrlore to skip all of them to list only console games demonstrates a huge disconnect.
