I mean it's such a huge improvement that i'm into the world instead of only leveling and gear grinding.
It's like i'm doing world quests and next thing i know i'm in a huge crowd of players doing an overland boss, why? becasue that is the world quest, just wild, loving this expansion.

'This does not apply just to ED but SC or any other game. What they will get is Rebirth/X4, likely prettier but equally underwhelming and pointless.
It is incredibly difficult to design some meaningfull leg content that would fit a space ship game - simply because it is not a leg game.
It is just huge resource waste....'

We don't know how many were actually sold on the release day to make it genuinely the "fastest-selling" PC game. PR speak is PR speak...
Someone always finds a way to make something less than it is.
Every "fastest selling" anything includes pre-orders if they were available.
Geee, I wonder why? If you think it's cause anything Blizzard did, you're fooling yourself. All internet based media companies are raking in money right now.
Does not matter what else is going on if they did not make it.....
I remember people bringing this up as Blizzard could claim a person that paid for one hour of WOW was a sub that month.
Anyway, good on them. Lets see how it unfolds.

Fun Fact: They released expansions in previous years. The fact that this particular year, most of the year being before the expansion, has more player logged hours then the previous 10 has little to do with the expansion.

When you figure they had as many as what 12-16 million subs and that doesn't include those that leave,I bet they have sold likely at very minimum 20 million copies and typically a lot RETURN for expansions so that is like 3.7 or 4/20+ that is less than a 20% retention rate, yep real good lmao.
IMO you lose 80% of your customers, you have failed and by a LOT.You think Blizzard would post an article bragging about losing 80% lmao not a chance in hell.
So they are upwards over 100 billion in revenue and still can't afford to put housing in Wow...ROFLMAO.
Hey you know what ,thanks for all the money....suckers!!That is what their execs are saying behind closed doors.
How to make a MMORPG 101...gear scores and instances....SAY what?Well just ask Blizzard,don't ask me,i didn't design their game,they MUST be right....right?
Never forget 3 mile Island and never trust a government official or company spokesman.
Every single expac they put out makes them hundreds of millions...been that way for ever and will continue i am sure.

Or is it because they counted all preorders for the last year, or because players just stay logged in all day and night while hardly active in-game? Pandemic and people are bored?
Do they even care why it’s so popular still, even if it is a bad reason like botters and multiboxers? At this point it wouldn’t surprise me if players and company affiliates stay logged in on-purpose just to make the numbers look good, because WoW is a good game, but it's not great, imo. It’s old and very gimmicky. I don’t understand how it can be so popular without some underhanded metrics.
The alternative is to believe that WoW really is still the pinnacle of online RPGs and the current community really does just want more WoW on rails. I honestly don’t know which is worse.
