    This may not be the game we want.. but likely the game we need at this point. Only game closer by on the horizon. Lastly, I never got into games with a mix of fantasy and steampunk with guns, willing to give it a shot.

    Elyon launched today in S.Korea, and the Koreans are not very happy. Looks like this game is super P2W. 

    In Elyon there is a system called the Luminous system. It is a system that adds passive stats to your character. Which you can only buy from the cash shop. 

    Luminous comes in 1-5 stars. They are available for 800 gear per 1, or 8000 gears for 11. So it's a little under $2 US per luminous. Luminous gives a stat line for each star, up to 5 lines in total. 

    You can combine 3 star Luminous for a chance to make a higher star Luminous. This can fail, if it does fail you will get some random stat of a 2 star grade. 

    Luminous stats are significant. It has a prefix which is random and a affix which is random, and when it rolls it stats are random. Meaning if your super lucky, and make a 5 star Luminous it may not be the exact stats you want. 

    With perfect Rng you may be able to get a 5 star for about $200 US in the cash shop.

    Games can have different business models for different versions.  What you care about is what business model is used by the version that you want to play.  For example, the South Korean version of Astellia was heavily pay to win, but the English version is buy to play.  In the other direction, the Japanese version of Uncharted Waters Online is a subscription game, while the English version tries to go heavily pay to win.
