    Read the article, it sounded pretty plausible to me at least. If it's not true, I wish CD Projekt Red would tell us the truth instead.

    Why do you care, play the game, enjoy the game, stop spreading rumours. There are more important things.

    I don't know what we are even talking about at this point.

    I am not calling developers liars - devs just work on whatever the managers tell them to do - devs are just bottom of the totem pole dudes that follow direction from higher ups.

    Unless devs also happen to be the execs (like some smaller companies have) - that would be the exception.


    but in case of CDPR and Cyberpunk 2077 - the devs are not the problem, - the execs that pushed for launch of an unfinished game just to make Xmas sales - that's the problem.

    PR for CDPR is the mouthpiece of the execs - not devs - this "well it's not true" is not the voice of the devs at CDPR - this is the voice of the execs at CDPR who are doing damage control.
    Well, you're splitting hairs. I say "developers" meaning the development company.

    so sure, replace that with "game company" if you'd like.

    The irony of that situation is for any fan of 2077 there was actually good stuff in there , that showed possible promise for its future ..  And was the only positive noteworthy info since its launch

      Unfortunately .. its not true ...    so they say ..

      On a side note the bleeding continues for OGTLF as there stock slid another 7.48% today ... Down 43% since 2077 launch

          The future for them imo .. does not look good

    The future for the execs certainly does not look good.

    I still think that CDPR has exceptional talent and devs - and I think given more time and more freedom to fulfill their original vision for Cyberpunk 2077 - like the alleged leak detailed- they could end up with a much better game in a 6 months.



    Time ... is a factor here ..

      IMO they will be laying off from there 1000 staff by March .. They do not have the stable of games to take a hit like they are experiencing at this time .. The bleeding will not stop , like i said  4 weeks ago , i spoke to a couple of the heavy hitters involved here , and i told yas this was coming ..


         Now , i dont want anyone to take it wrong .. I really hope they can pull it out .. They do have some talented and creative folks there .. 
     
      But right now the outlook does not look promising ..
